GoodOaks Homecare Bedford is pleased to introduce RoboPets into the support we provide to our clients.
The initiative was made possible by our Registered Manager, Trisha Mabbott, through her local connections and partnership with Bedfordshire Care Group.
RoboPets can be particularly beneficial for people living with dementia, providing comfort and companionship, reducing anxiety and encouraging interaction in a calm and non-intrusive way.
We have already seen some lovely moments and positive engagement from the people we support.
This is a great example of how working with local organisations can help us continue to enhance the quality of home care in Bedford and provide meaningful, person-centred support.
Trisha Mabbott, Registered Manager at GoodOaks Homecare Bedford, said:
“We are always looking for ways to improve the support we provide. The RoboPets have been a wonderful addition and it has been lovely to see the smiles and engagement they bring.”
She added that the initiative shows the importance of local partnership working.
“Building strong relationships within the Bedford community can lead to meaningful improvements for the people we support every day.”
GoodOaks Homecare Bedford provides domiciliary care and support to people across Bedford and the surrounding areas, helping people remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.
