Our Care Director Sarah Hurley was nominated for the Businesswoman of the year award at the WAGs Awards 2025. The finalist nomination was a reflection of her success in guiding our Hertfordshire branch to its third successive CQC-Outstanding rating, and her drive for innovation, championing the ELK Cushion Pilot scheme. The scheme successfully lifted 30 clients safely from the floor in the last year, reducing the need to call on already strained local emergency services.

Our Care Worker Liaison Officers Alix and Michelle were nominated for the Wellbeing at Work Award for their dedication in supporting our care team, particularly in situations that can be emotionally challenging. Alix also supported our award winning companionship campaign, phoning clients, and matching them with a companionship volunteer.
