We were very excited when, Zoe Beck, one of our Erewash-based carers walked away with the winners trophy for The Home Care Worker Award, at the recent East Midlands Final of the Great British Care Awards.

Warm, patient, skilled, and endlessly supportive, Zoe embodies the very best of Premier Community. Her nomination for, and subsequent win of, the Home Care Worker Award is not only well-deserved, it feels inevitable to anyone who has ever worked with her.

Zoe is recognised throughout the team for her naturally calm and caring approach. One colleague who shadowed her as a new starter said: “I never felt pressured the patience Zoe showed was amazing.”

Another shared how much Zoe supported them during a complex double-up shift: “She talked me through everything. She’s amazing so supportive and helpful. A real asset to the team.”
