Home Instead are proud to have received the Princess Royal Training Award for the second time in a row. The 2019 awards highlighted that Home Instead upskilled its CAREGivers in order to help them deliver exceptional end of life care and support their client families effectively. The programme provided the personal skills and resilience needed and CAREGivers are better equipped to deal with stressful and emotional situations. There has also been a 4% reduction in attrition since the programme began.

Established by global skills development body City & Guilds Group, the PRTAs recognise employers with outstanding training and development programmes that have had a direct impact on business performance. The awards are supported by HRH The Princess Royal, who is a keen advocate of skills development. “Many employers are making positive contributions to our wider communities and economies by up-skilling and empowering their employees. The Princess Royal Training Awards provide a platform for such employers, giving them the accolade they deserve”
