Having the carers coming in to visit our Mum twice a day has given us peace of mind that she's having daily company and assitance with her medication etc. They are all very friendly and helpful and we're really happy with the service provided.

The world (the community of Surrey) would be a gloomier place without these 'Guardian Angels' to help you through in times of trauma. They provide hope, cheerfulness and care to carry one through. We could not have done without their services for the past year and will be eternally thankful.

I have used the services of Astor Care for the last 14 years. All of the carers allocated to attend to my wife who has dementia are extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring whilst attending to my wife with dignity and respect.
Care and consideration to my daily needs are also demonstrated
on every visit.

I have worked in the care sector for over 30 years, I chose Astor for the care of my mother from my own experience with their staff and also by recommendation and felt confident in how they were managed.
Mum has an excellent team looking after her, they always take time to chat and stimulate her in
addition to her personal care. The management are very approachable and professional and flexible with the ever changing situation.
Mum was briefly hospitalised recently while I was away, the whole team were so supportive and flexible. I was given great re assurance as they spent lengthy times with her in A&E, meaning we still got our much needed break and she had a friendly face and support at her side. It made a difficult situation so much easier.

Mum has received care from Astor Agency for many years now. She turned 100 at the end of 2024. Without the care and support from her excellent carers undoubtedly she would not have reached this milestone. They interact with her daily, laugh and have fun together, while supporting her needs. They
monitor her health and because they know her so well they can see any issues arising early. The carers are such an asset, making my life so much easier. I live over 200 miles away, visiting monthly, but I rest assured she is cared for wonderfully.

We've been using Astor Care for a year and have been most pleased with the Agency. The carers are very good, courteous, kind and generally extremely caring. They go the extra mile to see that my husband is happy with all they do for him. The management staff, also, have been extremely helpful.

From our first contact with the office staff and the initial visit from the supervisor to assess our needs, it was evident that the service was first class. Astor Care were able to send the same carer for our visits, which greatly assisted us in acclimatising to having a stranger administer personal
care, always a delicate matter. When our timetable needs varied, Astor Care allocated another carer whom we have used consistently since. Both ladies have been exceptionally professional and personable; we couldn't have asked for nicer people. The office staff efficiently and promptly deal with our communications. We have total confidence that Astor Care will provide the top quality staff whenever we ask for assistance. We have used Astor Care for the past 19 months and although paying for the services of any carer is never cheap, we consider it worthwhile, for our peace of mind, to pay a little bit more to receive a consistently high level of service.

I have been having an extremely hard time with things lately. My carers have gone so far beyond the call of duty, supporting me physically (as they always have) but also mentally with the huge change in my personal circumstances. Kind, caring, considerate, thoughtful, and individual are just some of
the many words I could use to describe the ladies, each one of them showing nothing but respect and compassion.
Going though one of the hardest times in my life whilst being disabled and having a fibromyalgia flare up was never going to be easy, but I've managed to see the light at the end of the tunnel thanks to my carers, I really don't know how I would of got throught without them, each one a true angel who I'm honoured to call my carers.
Thank you Astor Care, for all you do. Everyone from the carers to office staff plays their part in offering an individual client-centred approach.
I 100% recommend Astor to anyone looking for care for themselves or for a loved one.

I am very pleased with the care provided. The carers are courteous and kind and carry out their duties proficiently. They arrive at the appointed time. They have been well-trained. The managers of the agency have been very helpful.

I have been very impressed with the care given to my mum over these past six months. My mum was initially reluctant to have care but due to increasing frailty it became very clear that she required support with her daily living needs. The carers have been very kind and supportive and have made a
huge difference to my mum and enabled her to continue to live at home. The office are always super helpful and able to sort out any issues and extra requirements.

From the moment we had the initial meeting to discuss care needs for my family member Astor Care have been amazing. They really do listen and the quick and friendly response from the office staff is wonderful. Living some distance from my loved one is hard but knowing they have lovely carers who
really do care is a comfort. The office are super responsive, quick to deal with any issues, very polite and have contacted me when they have noticed any concerns. The carers have taken time to get to know my relative who now looks forward to their visits and company. Being able to see what the carers have done each visit via their app is an added bonus, it puts my mind at ease. They have truly made a difference.

My darling mum was very ill in hospital. We had been receiving exceptional care for both my wonderful parents. Astor Care & Nursing Agency provided 24-hour care for my father while I spent every minute by my mother's bedside. I will always be forever grateful and never forget the kindness of all the
carers and Astor Care. They enabled me to spend my darling mum's last days with her by her side. My dad received exceptional care, kindness and attention. They also kept in close contact with me to be there for me. I will never forget such kindness.

Staff generally friendly but have poor timekeeping. They have a lack of understanding of people’s needs, even though they say they are a nursing agency! Timekeeping is appalling; you never get the time you pay for, staff give false login and out details, and they forget people have cameras that are
time and date stamped - this is theft and taking advantage of vulnerable people.

Astor Care have been amazing at helping us care for our nan. Our nan has been really unwell this year. Since Astor Care started to help us our nan is now thriving and doing really well. She has put on weight and is starting to eat properly again. Astor Care are great with communication no matter how
many times I call or email. They are always happy to help. I don't know where we would be without them.
