Having the support from Good Companions means that Mum can stay in her own home. Mum enjoys the visits, has good conversations with the carers and they ensure she and her home is safe and well taken care of. We have the comfort that she has the helps she needs. They are reliable, trust worthy and
kind.

We have been using the services of Good Companions for just over 4 months and have found them to be very professional, helpful, caring and efficient. Whatever our needs have been, the team have always been willing to assist, and any queries have been dealt with extremely quickly and efficiently.
Highly recommend their services.

Carers have always been punctual, and the care delivered has been good. The visit to Penrith has been particularly good and helpful, and carers have gone the extra yard - including getting fish and chips.
Over all I'm very happy with the service.

I am very happy with the care you have provided for my parents, especially my mother. I have requested several increased changes of care for my parents in the last month, which you have been able to provide at short notice.

The carers have been excellent, kind and considerate and they are very polite and a pleasure to have in our home. We have had slight problems with the times that they have come but now all is resolved.

Always at the end of the phone to sort those little niggles and help keep things ticking over. This is especially important as I am 300 miles away.
Carers are always respectful and friendly and happy to accommodate change when required.

Despite suffering from a sudden substantial reduction in staff in 2024, the remaining carers and those who have since joined as replacements, have always given friendly and efficient service. A more effective way to ensure appropriate visit times in cases of my known planned regular unavailability
would improve matters still further. I have to ring the office (often weekly) to ask for a visit time to be amended.
It was also wonderful to see the company repay its clients with the amount of the winter fuel allowance so cruelly withdrawn by the new government. Hats off to them!

Great communication with/from Good Companions who sent through the carer details for us to check. We were able to then communicate directly with the carer, arrange a pre-visit meetup and felt happy to leave Mum for two nights with the carer. Everyone was very accommodating and we will be happy to
use Good Companions again.

The care provided by Good Companions was the most professional and individual approach that provided comfort and peace for all the family. The staff were patient and empathetic. We were truly blessed to have found such a wonderful place. Not all angels have wings. Thank you so much.

My mum's two carers supplied by Good Companions are outstanding. Sadly my experience with their management from Good Companions has not been as good - pressure put on carers to take on other clients at short notice which puts them under pressure and they did not have the time off in which to
recuperate. Short notice changes were also very upsetting and unsettling for my mum.

I have been satisfied with the contact I have had with the office. They have been efficient and helpful. I have also been happy with the service provided by the carer.

Good Companions have been a great help to my mum and family since the very start and continue to do so. From the first enquiry they were able to advise what care would be best for my mum. We use the Good Companions for respite care and without doubt they always make sure they can he;p rovide a carer
for the time we need.
The team have been ever so supportive and continue to do so, I have recommended many of my mums elderly friends to seek acre from Good Companions and would advise any other families to do so also. The Good Companions really do care!

We had a bit of misunderstanding at first but the manager got it sorted and Good Companies provide careers for my parents.
All off them gave 110%.
Especially one who was an angel sent from heaven

No real problems at all with the care received but sometimes rota times can be misleading. Accounting problems between the company and the Council department have resulted in us paying for cancelled visits. Both parties say they are working to rectify this and there seems to be some progress
recently - ongoing. Hence scores for management and value for money.

All carers are recommended, cheerful, and helpful. A pleasure to see them. Manager and office staff easy to contact and always helpful. I have been using Good Companions for many years.
