My mother, who received the care cannot praise the service highly enough. The care, put in place by a social worker at the hospital, meant that my mother who lives alone, bathroom and bedroom upstairs without a stair lift was able to leave hospital 8 days after receiving a hip operation. It gave
both her and us peace of mind, knowing that carers would be checking on her regularly.
The carers as a team were both professional and friendly, giving support and encouragement to enable my mother to gradually resume her personal care and tasks independently. The service was reduced from 4 visits a day, with my mother's agreement, gradually during the latter few weeks as she became more confident and recovered from her operation. At all times every single member of the team was supportive and offered advice on tasks and general help and care. This service has been a godsend to enable my mother to continue independent living.
