View Full Details of Merseycare Julie Ann LtdThis is on behalf of myself, my mum and dad. My mum has MND (Motor Neurone Disease). As a family we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mersey Care Julie Ann specifically for one care worker in particular for the outstanding care she provides to my mum. Her professionalism, caring nature and exceptional quality of work truly stands out. This carer worker always goes above and beyond to ensure that my mum feels comfortable and reassured and she is equally supportive and understanding with her at all times. Her ability to bring calm and confidence into our home is invaluable. The high standard of her work and her genuine dedication to her role gives our family great peace of mind and we are so thankful for everything she does. I am aware that this sector of work can be challenging especially for staff, therefore we felt it important to share our feedback with you as a company to ensure that this care worker's standard of work and quality is recognised.
I would like to say how pleased we are with the carer that comes to the client, she is so friendly, caring and shows constant empathy towards the client. We have difficulty trying to get the client to eat and drink but I have witnessed how the carer coaxes her to do this and the client really likes her. Would it be possible too have the same carers coming to the carer and the carer in the team because this would help the client so much. Different carers constantly do not have the same empathy that the client needs. I would also like to say how one staff member in particular is so helpful friendly and knowledgeable , nothing is a problem for her and her visit today was so helpful. Please pass my thank on to both.
I am very happy with the service - excellent.
I just wanted to say how pleased we are with the carers from Merseycare, the carer who have been supporting Mum over the last year. In particular her morning carer has gone above and beyond in the way she supports and cares for Mum and it's very much appreciated. Also she has the ability to make Mum laugh which is so important in difficult circumstances.
Following mums discharge I would like to say just how invaluable a particular member of staff was when completing her assessment of my mum. The contacts she was able to provide and her first hand knowledge of the situation and the advice and help we needed were second to none. My sister and I personally feel that this staff member went above and beyond to help us, having realised that our mum had been unsafely discharged by the hospital. The day was long and exhausting and yet this staff member continued on tirelessly to ensure we had everything in place for our mum and without her, we would have been completely at a loss as we had no idea who to turn to
My father in law is looked after predominantly by two male carers from Merseycare Julie Ann - having the same carers consistently helps enormously because my father in law is set in his ways and doesn't respond well to change - the carers have developed a solid relationship with on of the carers and know how to cope with him at his best and worst - and us as a family are very grateful to his carers for looking after him so well - any issues we have had have been resolved quickly through the agency as they are only a phone call away - they also keep in touch if they have any issues their end too - it's a great relationship we have between carers and client and long may it continue
My mum has been having carers for the last couple of years from here. We are so happy with the care she has been given. She has 2 visits a day and we have had no problems at all. All of her carers are very supportive and helpful and do their job's amazingly.
The carers are helpful and attentive. They know the client really well and make an effort to interact and respond to their needs in the best way. There is good continuity of staff which is important. The app is a very useful tool for keeping up to date. The staff use it to provide helpful updates, on occasion, more information could be provided. The overall service is very good.
Having been providing quality care and support for mum and our family for over 2 years its a great comfort knowing Merseycare Julie Ann Ltd are there day in day out. Assisting mum, 'To live well with Dementia'. With an understanding, caring and professional approach they have supported mum and the family to navigate a very new and difficult situation in a difficult climate. From the beginning, MCJA office team with our coordinator worked with the family to develop a workable, deliverable care plan around mums physical and emotional needs, with an emphasis on maintaining her dignity and independence. Over time we have built a great relationship, down to earth and approachable they are there, just at the end of the phone. The care staff who call day in day out are very patient, caring and understanding. They soon found out mums likes and dislikes always a cheery smile. The app is handy, I can log in and see mums mood, care and meal coordination is working as it should. Thanks MCJA, mum's front line team.
It is an excellent service and I am very happy with everything.
Carers looking after Mum for almost 15 years. Carers are great, some of them have been 15 years coming and feel like a family. Made up with the services.
The carers are very helpful and punctual and apart from doing their job, they also have time to check on whether I've eaten and listen to my "life stories" which is very comforting!
The care my wife receives from her main carer is excellent. I think she should get an award, she is always cheerful and she looks after my wife's needs. The other carers do a great job as well.
Care at home for dementia patients, 1 star, you expect 30-minute visits you are lucky if they attend for 10 minutes. The carers do not encourage the intake of food, drink or medication, and personal and bedding hygiene is not encouraged. I am constantly chasing the company but the care team really don't care, all this is on camera and witnessed by professionals.
