View Full Details of Community Support ServicesAll the carers Dad experienced were absolutely lovely, both he and I felt really confident in their care and respectful approach to Dad. He's pretty independent and tried hard to achieve the targets set and the carers often followed up with me to check he was actually able to do the things he told them he was doing without their help and this was a great comfort to me that they absolutely had his best interests at heart.
The home care enablement programme has been such a help in my recuperation. All the carers, the therapists and assessors have been so kind and sensitive to my needs. They have shown encouragement and respected my dignity for which I am very grateful.
Having being in hospital for a short period of time the clinicians told me that until they could get a date for the Community Support Services to start to look after me then I was to stay in hospital. The care that was provided was very good, the staff male and female were polite, efficient, well mannered and didn't judge people on how they were they did not discriminate. They were very considerate and showed empathy.
Your all outstanding , wonderful people , I was out of my depth and had hit a brick wall, from the first point of contact I was overwhelmed at the compassion shown to mine and my father's situation. An assessment was carried out rapidly and a care package put in place the same day , I can never thank you all enough for such a wonderful service , everyone I've met yet are friendly but professional . Massive well done Community Support Services East Riding. The difference it's going to make is phenomenal . Thank you thank you thank you
Excellent experience of this service. Very person centred approahc by all staff, on each visit. Good communication during visits and review meetings of the care package. Given time and support to maximise independence. Referrals to other services discussed, explained and actioned. A valuable resource to support discharge from hospital for the client but also supportive and reassuring for family.
I was amazed at how well I was taken care of and felt very fortunate. The food was good and well prepared and nicely served with a smile.
All the ladies who come to visit me were very friendly. I didn't need much practical help, but their visits, conversations, and encouragement were a great help at a time when I doubted my ability to get better.
My experience was excellent, helpful and appreciated following my heart surgery on 22nd May 2025. The team of carers were considerate, respectful and very well turned out. They helped me to reestablish my normal routine in an unhurried pace within 6 weeks of my surgery.
Very pleased with the help I received, it gave me my confidence back. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful.
The service you provide is second to none, all the carers are kind and considerate and very professional couldn't fault any of them, be it male or female. 10 out of 10.
All carers give excellent care to my dad at all times.
The service provided has been excellent and has gone way beyond what was required after discharge from hospital. No request for help has been refused. All the staff visiting have been friendly and helpful. They have always turned uo at the agreed time and even had a chat if time allowed before their next appointment. They have been helpful in accessing equipment and help beyond their remit and suggesting other organisations when appropriate. Difficult to find a fault with any part of the organisation.
A quick deal of help gave me the confidence to walk around the garden and up the stairs.
Been coming for a week now and provided excellent care and communication. I am very happy with the support I am getting. Thank you.
All the carers that came were very efficient, friendly and made me feel safe. I am very pleased with my care package, and it was in place very quickly. Thank you for your efficient service.
Would like to thank everyone for all the help I have had to get me back where I was before I was taken into the hospital. The staff was wonderful with my needs to getting wash and showed and getting me out walking with my rollator, thank you very much.
On the service you provide is very good. Your treated with respect & dignity. Staff were polite, always on time and nothing is too much trouble.
My neighbour thought that the carer he has just had was excellent, caring in every way. She would drive behind my friend to the shops, help with the shopping and follow him home. She would give him his tablets in the morning (and also in the evening) help with any jobs that needed doing and making the bed. She also helped with doing the microwave and the washing machines.
From introductions to service provision, everyone who attended to mum's care needs did so with the utmost care. The whole team become an extension to the family. We cannot praise the service enough. Due to mum's care needs, we thought it was going to be difficult for her to adjust to, we were so wrong. Everyone treats her with dignity and support to help her maintain a healthy life style in her own surroundings. No hesitation in recommending the service. Just wish we could fund the service to continue. Thank you to everyone.
During the period of care, my mother was treated with compassion and kindness. Many of its staff, not all, went over and above what was expected/required to help her recovery. The help given enabled mother to regain a degree of independence, the physical and mental improvement seen, following her stay in hospital was clearly evident. Given the change in carers recently, it gives clear evidence that the service you provide is something that you can be immensely proud of.
