I had an awful experience with another care agency which lasted for months. It got so bad that I just had to change agencies. Someone suggested Right Care, Burnley as an alternative. I was a qualified Registered Nurse and knew that the “care” I was receiving fell way below an acceptable standard.
When I changed to Right Care it was so much better. I received a proper care plan (something that the previous agency CLAIMED on their website that they gave all clients!) but I never received any paperwork whatsoever!, The old carers used to come in and make a sandwich etc and then stand in the kitchen texting! Whereas the Right Care staff sit and chat after they’ve done these jobs. I feel this is just as important as physical care. I’m home alone for long periods of the day and it is so nice to have friendly carers who are more than willing to sit and chat to me, I would recommend Right Care to anyone needing the services of a care agency!
