The Right at Home team in Derby provide visiting home care support for my mum, who has well developed mixed dementia, currently aged 87, living alone and was someone who did not want to accept any care support at all, denying the dementia diagnosis. When I engaged the team, my mother was at risk due
to her condition and because she is very active, regularly walking 3 miles crossing busy roads. I live 3 hours away. Over time the carers have develop a trust relationship with my mum and we now have a good care plan in place, which reduces my mums risk, with her being pleased to have 'new friends' visiting. The team continue to respond to my mum's developing care needs and I have daily access to the records of every visit. When I have provided feedback to the team, they have quickly responded to it. The team are caring, practical and proactive, responding to situations which have arisen immediately to ensure my mum is safe.

'Right at Home' was recommended by a friend. It took a little time to convince Mum this is a good idea. She is very capable but I wanted her to have (to start with) a couple of hours a week where she could concentrate on getting herself ready for work.
Right at Home came to my parents house for a
consultation which I joined. This visit was so lovely, we had a cuppa and Mum showed the carer around the house and spoke to Dad too to make sure he was happy. Mum and Dad weren't rushed at all and we all had a good chit chat about all sorts. Within two weeks the care had started. Mum isn't great with anything online - she rings and pays over the phone and gets an invoice through the post which is perfect. The two ladies that alternate the care are just great and Mum has settled into the routine of being able to leave Dad alone whilst Dads carer is there. We've just booked extra care for a day so I can take Mum on a trip to London! Thank you RatH :)

Right at Home have been tremendous throughout.
Every single member of the Team has been incredibly helpful, kind and thoroughly professional in every aspect of their work. Everything has been easy to organise and when we asked for extra help it was there when we needed it.
The carers are all very
experienced, and are so willing to provide excellent advice and guidance. They are all friendly and easy to get on with. It is like having a friend coming into your home.
Just a word about the Admin with Right at Home. Everything is laid out clearly. You know when calls are due in the next week and who will be doing them. If anything doesn't work for you as a client they try their hardest to make it right
Invoicing is clear and accurate.
Basically it's hard to think of a better run organisation. At a time when you need help the most Right at Home are there for you.

I cannot praise the care and attention that my partner received too highly. All the carers were so good and treated us both with kindness and dignity. I would recommend Right at Home to anyone needing care. Nothing was too much trouble.

I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding support provided by Right at Home (Derby). This was our first experience with home care, and we couldn't have asked for a better team.
From the very beginning, the staff were exceptionally supportive, guiding us through every step with patience and
understanding. Their expertise in care was evident in the compassion and professional manner in which they attended to my father's needs. They provided excellent care and offered practical solutions to improve his daily living conditions.
The team's dedication and commitment to ensuring my father's well-being have been truly remarkable. They have gone above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable and well-cared for, and their kindness has made a significant difference in his quality of life.
I highly recommend Right at Home (Derby) to anyone in need of home care services. Their exceptional support and expertise have made a challenging time much more manageable for our family.

Throughout our contact with Right at Home every member of staff we have had contact with has been courteous, informed and reliable. Special thanks to three members of staff in particular and I know that H would want me to send special thanks to a particular lady, one of the carers.

Mum has been expertly looked after by Right at Home for the last few years. Her needs have fluctuated over this time and it has been very useful for us that Right at Home has been able to accommodate the extra or fewer care calls that she has required. Mum has enjoyed meeting all the different
carers and we are confident that, despite our living many miles away, Mum is able to live in her own home, which is exactly where she wants to be, with the help of these dedicated professionals.

Right at Home have provided a wonderful service to my parents. Several friendly, caring, conscientious ladies came to our family home for 3-4 years to support my Mum in the final years of her life, and they have just started to provide a similar service for my Dad. I would describe them as angels.
Their support has provided our family with peace of mind, dignity and good humour. I can't stress enough how much they added to my Mum's quality of life as she struggled with various things, and I am sure they will do the same for my Dad.

All my carers have been very pleasant, and helpful. Carers have different levels of experience but they all follow directions well and have learned what I need support with and how quickly so I have been very happy with the service Right at Home Derby has provided me with. I would thoroughly
recommend them to anyone seeking support at home. This has been my first and only experience of home care so I can't say anything about value for money, but I am very satisfied with the care and service that I receive. The only reason I've rated management with 4 stars is because communication has sometimes not been as good as it could be (e.g. between the office and my daughter). However, the carers have been very willing to contact the office on my behalf to check arrangements, etc.

I can honestly say that the team at Right At Home Derby have been amazing very personal and reactive to any changes or additional support required. We now have live-in care for my Uncle which has been seamless and a fantastic support for his well-being. To be able to remain at home was his biggest
desire and Right At Home has made that possible for him.

I am the court-appointed deputy for my brother who had a stroke three years ago. Not living close to my brother we depend on Right at Home to provide the primary care. Nothing is too much for them (I try to keep my requests reasonable!) replies are friendly and efficient. Delivery is always

We have used Right at Home for over 5 years now! They are always professional, and eager to assist with any queries or problems. After a period of changes, we now have a settled care team, which meets our needs. The client has Autism, and other health issues, and therefore needs continuity in his
daily life.
His Care team and Manager are friendly, approachable, and efficient. Always eager to assist with any issues that may arise. For me personally, the online facility to read the carer's daily notes is essential. It gives me peace of mind, and enables me to keep a check on my Sibling's health and wellbeing.

I found all your staff very helpful, obliging and attentive. They were also very punctual so I knew exactly when to expect them. Nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to have them in the house. I will certainly use your company again.

Having required care for over 20 years, I can say with confidence that Right at Home are the best. I have found their carers provide a professional and compassionate service. Once here, there will be no need to look anywhere else!
