We used Home Instead when we needed care for my Father and were very impressed. They took time to sort what he needed and all staff he had were fantastic and office staff were great . When my Mother needed care we contacted Home Instead again to arrange care for her. Once again everyone we have dealt with has been fantastic and she always feels valued and well cared for. All staff at Home Instead listen to what is required and have always been caring and professional. Would highly recommend them !!

We made contact with Home Instead when my Mum's dementia was moderate and life was getting harder for both Mum and Dad at home. When we met with Home Instead in 2023 the administration team took their time to get to really know not only Mum, but Dad as well and get a real picture of their lives and family. All the carers that Mum received were very caring and would take Mum out for walks and take her to Reminiscence learning as well in addition to personal care. This gave Dad time and space as well. Sadly Mum's dementia took a sudden much faster downturn which has meant Mum needing to go into a nursing home. We have however chosen to have a continued link with Home Instead given their excellent service level where they now support Dad at this stage with some Companionship.

My elderly father is now in declining health and a professional care package needed to be arranged to enable him to return home from hospital after a recent fall. I contacted Home Instead after receiving a recommendation from a friend. All members of the Home Instead team have been polite, professional and courteous right from the very start of the process to set up Dad's care package. Without exception, the standard of care now being provided by all the Home Instead care professionals and support team has been outstanding. Genuinely caring people. It has been very reassuring for me to have their professional help in place, and the ability for me to view their visit notes via a secure app on my phone is proving to be of tremendous value to me as Dad's relative.

I have help with various jobs around my home as I am still regaining my strength after illness. My helpers are very good and will take on any task I ask of them. I do not need medical assistance at the moment.

I have spinal sclerosis & osteoarthritis, and I live with continual pain. My daughter contacted several care agencies & found Home Instead appeared to be the best agency for my needs. My experience to date with the agency has been excellent. They adopt a holistic approach to my personal care. I am able to maintain control over my meals as far as I can manage, whilst the carers help me with all aspects of my care that I cannot manage. One carer has been involved in most of my care, and when she is off duty, another carer covers the session. The continuity of care has been maintained by introducing the relief members of staff beforehand. I look forward to their visits each week. Both women are an asset to the company. I am a retired nurse, midwife, health visitor & psychologist. Thank you for allowing me to respond to this survey.

The Biggest Thankyou Looking for a care package for our elderly Mum following a "hospital Stay" - Mum was always adverse to any outside assistance. We were lucky enough to bring on board Home Instead in Mums later months to constantly hear Mum say "when are the lovely Carers coming next ? they are so kind and I love their chats they always have time for me" The client care consultant and her Incredible team at Taunton took away any fears that we had and supported us throughout to which we will always be immensely grateful

As a family we were looked after well both by the management and careers who went out of their way to fit in with sudden changes and re planning after re planning to assure my parents received the best attendance at a very difficult time.

The Home Instead team have been great in helping Mum since the loss of her husband. The care staff are punctual and responsive to Mum's little tasks each visit, helping to take some of the chores and leave Mum with a little more energy. Most importantly they are chatty and interested in Mum and are wonderful in providing some wider companionship. They are backed up with an involved office team, communicating schedules in a timely fashion and keeping us informed when Mum is having a bad day. Overall we have nothing but praise for the Home Instead team, thank you.

Mum always looks forward to her care visits and trusts and likes the carers who come. We have morning visits every weekday at different times so that Mum knows she can keep her routine (shopping, church or just company at home). Sometimes if no family members are around we arrange for extra visits which Mum always appreciates. The carers are always friendly, helpful and reliable. We have regular reviews and excellent communication with our very supportive care coordinator, who keeps family informed of any concerns which arise and can advise on available resources. As a result we feel very confident that Mum has excellent care at home which can adapt to the changes that old age and gradual loss of memory bring.

My family and I are absolutely delighted with the care provided by Home Instead for my 86yr old father. The carers are kind and considerate and go the extra mile to ensure my dad's comfort and safety. Communication between Home Instead and ourselves is excellent and the daily update on the carers visits via the app is very reassuring and thorough. We are confident that any concerns will be raised immediately and acted upon and we are always kept in the loop. The staff are extremely approachable and nothing seems too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead.

The care provided, although expensive, was absolutely amazing and worth every penny knowing that mum was in safe hands. All mum's carers were friendly, kind and caring and treated her with respect and dignity. The live-in carers were absolutely exceptional as was mum's end of life care.

I am a solicitor / attorney who was instructed in late 2024 by an elderly lady who had no living relatives to help her manage her affairs. She had been badly let down by her existing (less expensive) home care care agency. I decided to contact Home Instead who have been simply superb from first to last. The client care consultant impressed me from the outset with her quiet efficiency and diligence. She put my client at ease and the live in carers she assigned have all been well trained, calm, efficient and compassionate. This quality of this agency's care has been truly outstanding in all respects and worth every penny of the additional outlay. You get what you pay for it seems.

I contacted Home Instead to care for my elderly neighbour. Firstly it was to take her shopping and basic care around the house. As time went on this then moved to visits twice a day and more care personal care for my neighbour. Towards the end Home Instead came in and looked after my neighbour 24/7 with care and dignity nothing was too much trouble. They are a caring professional organisation and will do all they can to make someone's life just that little bit better exactly when they need it. I would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough positive things about the team at Home Instead. Their compassionate care and unwavering support made such a difference during the last few months of my dad's life. They allowed him to stay comfortably and happily in his own home, surrounded by familiar faces and memories, which meant the world to him and to our family. The caregivers were not only professional but truly kind-hearted, going above and beyond to ensure his dignity, comfort, and happiness. We are deeply grateful for the peace of mind they provided during such a challenging time. Home Instead made an incredibly difficult situation much more bearable, and for that, we will always be thankful.

Home Instead provides a remarkable service for my father. The Care Professionals and office-based staff are genuinely caring and responsive to his needs and wishes. The excellent care has enabled him to stay at home, where he wants to be. The service is efficient and works like a well-oiled machine, but with a human touch. He enjoys seeing his carers, knows when they will come and who to expect. It may be a cliche, but Home Instead staff really do go the extra mile. They spot any subtle changes and raise concerns appropriately when necessary. Management staff contact us in an appropriate and timely manner and are a pleasure to work with. This provides peace of mind as we live over 200 miles away.

Home Instead continue to provide the highest standard of care possible. They are proactive and flexible. Most importantly, they listen and adapt according to Dad's wishes, which is so important for him. He is in control of things but has advice and help where required. It is reassuring for everyone to know Dad has support of this quality to allow him to remain safely and comfortably at home. Care and support staff are fantastic and genuinely caring. I thoroughly recommend them.

Home Instead provided a caring, reliable and proactive service. The person receiving their care was at the forefront of everything they did to ensure a safe and comfortable environment within the house. When circumstances dictated they went above and beyond agreed service levels even including hospital visits. The App meant that from a distance I was aware of all the circumstances giving me peace of mind that everything necessary was being done.

I cannot recommend Home instead highly enough, they have been responsive, proactive and are genuinely caring. Using their services has given me complete peace of mind. They keep me updated regularly and are easy to contact.

Very happy with the service provided by Home Instead. They are very reliable and helpful and fulfil my needs during visits. Would recommend them to anyone. Very flexible with the visits too as some weeks I might need to change the day.
