View Full Details of Care2Care (Yorkshire) LtdMy husband has a traumatic brain injury and requires assistance with all aspects of daily living. He has been a service user for the last 9 years and the team in the office to the individual carers who attend our home are fantastic. Very attentive to all his needs and have built a beautiful relationship based on trust, integrity and honesty. Like with all agencies unfortunately you may have occasions where mistakes occur however this is always promptly rectified. This is what person centred care should be always working around making my husbands quality of life better and enjoyable. The care team always go above and beyond in the quest of delivery nothing but the highest service of care. I have also allocated this agency to support my autistic son with social inclusion and so far this this is also a success. The care team make a conscious effort in supporting his development in independent life skills. The team are always finding innovative ideas to further help him develop.
Care2care do not care about their service users, even with cctv and cctv evidence provided to them, they don't take any responsibility for their staff providing a poor standard of care. I feel for anyone on their own that do not have anyone to represent them. Safeguarding issues, eg. when it comes to prescribed medications and topical ointments even though instructions of what to do are very thorough. Would not trust this company (especially if skin conditions are to be treated) and suggest installing cctv if you can as you are a liar without evidence. Care2care can defend this review all they want, however issues have been raised on several occasions and staff fail to ignore them which is negligence. Invoicing- if you employ them privately, you could end up been billed for double the time staff are inside the property. Staff don't treat service users with dignity or respect which continued for a long period of time, new policies still did not prevent this.
