View Full Details of Fuchsia Homecare IpswichThe care provided by Fuchsia for my Dad has been excellent. The staff, from the carers to the office staff, are always friendly, helpful and flexible. I would recommend Fuchsia Homecare to anyone and we will continue to use their services for as long as my Dad requires them.
The care my mum received in her last days was second to none. At 103 her days were going to be limited but care staff treated her with respect and most importantly matched her sense of humour so she felt valued. The staff were moved when mum passed and during the final days were also supportive to me. Thank you.
We have got into a routine where I get Christine out of bed, take her into the lounge for her medication and Breakfast. The carers then get her washed, dressed and clean her teeth. On Saturday mornings I give Christine a shower and depending upon what time the carers arrive, they will dry, dress her and clean her teeth. I will then give her medication and Breakfast. On a Wednesday, the carers call in lunch time to change her and make a cup of coffee for her and general clean of the Kitchen and Lounge while I go into Ipswich for a quick Swim
Although we have only been using your services for a short while and at present only morning visits, we are very satisfied with the overall service as well as level of care provided. My husband' is treated with dignity and care, his carers have been brilliant. It's great to have an email contact as well as telephone numbers and a weekly roster with timescale so you know when to expect your carer and it works!
Every carer who has visited Mum has been sensitive to her issues. The carers listen and are helpful. The whatsapp group really helps with quick updates and gives reassurance than Mums care continues to be personal. At all times the Company have done their very best for her. The carers visits have given the family a break and peace of mind. A really good thing us continuity. Mum has had the same carer for 6 days a week. This has made a huge difference to her. If there were any concerns over Mums health I was contacted and they even offered to contact GP. I have no hesitation to recommend thus Company. We have used them for 6 months.
I received an unsurpassed level of care for my mother, so I would highly recommend you anyone in the future.
On the whole we are really pleased with the service that you provide. My mother is happy but my concerns are only that she doesn't ask for things to be done when she has cover carers. Also sometimes she tells me she hasn't eaten a meal. I think this is probably her saying she's not hungry but I would really like the carers to encourage her to eat properly and to stay until she has finished her meal so we know she is eating well. Thank you and we do appreciate your efforts.
I am the nephew of someone who needs two carers four times a day, as he can't be left on his own, I get to experience all the carers first-hand. They will go above and beyond the standard duties, they are all kind and considerate and professional, they always have a smile on their faces, if this wasn't the case, I would have written something bad, but there is truly nothing bad that I can write. I am very happy with Fuchsia and the care that they provide.
I am very satisfied with the care provided for my wife. There is one improvement I would like to mention, and I am sorry to mention it because I don't like to complain. Some days I need to remake the bed after the care providers have done it. Only a very small thing, but it would be nice not to have to redo it. Other than that the service is outstanding.
I have only ever met with one of the carers for my mum who was lovely. This means I can't comment on how my mum is treated but she seems happy with the service she receives. She mostly takes her medication from the carers, except for with one carer when she always seems to decline her Fybogel, not sure why. However the fact that she takes any meds at all is a great success as she would never allow her family to give meds to her and would always argue with us and say she had already had it when we knew she hadn't. So well done for that. Mum sadly lies about things such as what she's eaten for tea ....or the fact that she's not seen anyone all day when myself and my sister have been there during the day. She will make up stories about family or neighbours too but I'm sure your staff are familiar with behaviours of people with dementia. We appreciate everything you do for mum, thank you for helping to take care of her.
All carers are friendly and appear to genuinely care about mum, and she them. Having familiar carers coming in to support mum means they become like family and know mum and her needs well. This in turn reassures the family that she is well cared for and respected.
From mum's referral to Fuchsia to present day, we have both been treated with respect and kept informed of each step including any changes made to the rota. All staff we have been in contact with have been friendly and efficient. The carers treat mum with respect and she says they are all very friendly so she feels comfortable having them in her home.
I've just read previous reviews and I echo all that has been said! One common thing is timing of the visits which I understand can be very difficult to fulfil! But saying that I still give a 5 star rating! The carers are very caring and knowledgeable as it is their job! They see so much in all walks of life and relate that back to their clients! Thank your very much!
The company is really good for me and my husband who is the client, the staff also do small jobs for me around the bungalow as I am not very mobile myself. So once again thank you all for a great service.
Carers are reliable and consistent. The main carer is good although using English as a foreign language can lead to misunderstanding or lack of comprehension. Some visit timings can be unhelpful, such as lunch at 11.45am or bed at 18:30. When the main carer is not working, replacement carers are sometimes new and demonstrate a lack of knowledge of the client's needs or routine. Generally, the positives outweigh the negatives and the service is good overall.
The experience we have had with Fuchsia Care since they started caring for my dad has been brilliant. The staff are very caring and helpful and always listen to him about his needs for the day. It is very reassuring to know that he has such lovely people visiting him and has certainly taken a weight off our shoulders especially in the mornings. We are now able to see dad everyday as we always did but as his children rather than his carer.
I am very happy with the carers. Everyone is friendly to me, my children and grandchildren. They feel more like family. I lost my husband a few years ago and their kindness helped me greatly. I am able to stay in my own home which pleases me. The carers are kind and trustworthy and nothing seems too much trouble.
My mum was recently very poorly and needed to go to hospital. During the day whilst waiting for the ambulance her carers were so kind and did all they could to keep her comfortable. When returning from the hospital the next day the carers waited over and above their time in the evening to see her home and put her to bed. The hospital transport was very late but they stayed to make sure Mum was sorted and comfortable. I am always recommending Fuschia Care to people as they are so kind and very caring. We have had a few companies but Fuschia is definitely the best we have had. Such lovely carers and a very well-run company.
Fuchsia Homecare really are 'Always Caring and Always there'. Our experiences with you were exceptional and I could not imagine my mum's continued success, without all of you as a team and your fantastic support.
My mother has been receiving home support for over a year now, at 91 she is mainly housebound I have found the care she has had from the company to be good. Mum has carers four times a day, to help her shower/wash, tend to her personal needs during the day, and help her into bed in the evening. My sister and I have a good relationship with mum's carers, as well as mum, the carers treat her with respect and many of the carers are like friends now. It would be nice if the carers were able to come earlier in the morning, and a bit later in the evening, to allow mum to stay up a bit longer, as it is a long night for her.
