View Full Details of Aroma Care WarwickshireI would like to thank Aroma care's management and carers for looking after my 94 year mother who lives alone suffering from dementia. She sleeps most of the day, but you can see her face light up when the carers come in to look after her, taking care of her personal care and preparing her meals and encouraging her to eat. Her care needs and medication are extremely well managed and the carers contact us immediately if they have any concerns. Thank-you so mind much and keep up the good work.
My 95 year old mother, who receives care every morning with washing/showering and dressing. She has received this care for approximately two and a half years, and has always been happy with your service. She gets on with the carers well.
I feel having the same carer is good as I have been able to build up a good relationship with carers. As I'm a person who likes to know who is coming to help and support me each day.
I continue to be very happy with the nature and quality of the care that I am receiving. My carers are unfailingly friendly, cheerful and kind. They now know me well and have a good understanding of what I can and cannot do. I particularly appreciate regular shaves and thewashing of hair. They also take a great interest in my family and enjoy meeting my children and granchildren when they visit. I have answered 'don't know on Value for Money because I do not know what the total cost of my care is or how much is paid by the local authority
I write in support of one particular care, Immaculate, who has supported me very well in the last couple of days in the build up to a healing treatment. A good attitude. Thank you. We laughed together and she efficiently dealt with all my current needs.
Experience very good, lovely team.
My first experience of Aroma Care was being visited at home by a representative who welcomed me as a client and then discussed what care I needed and at what time of day, which Aroma Care would try to fulfil. Later, I was phoned by another representative who informed me of the arrangements which had been made. I appreciated this initial welcome very much. A carer has visited me each day as requested to strip wash me, as I am at present not allowed to shower. Various carers have come and have all washed me satisfactorily with proper care and efficiency. They have all treated me with dignity. After the first few days, the same carer usually comes. He is very efficient and courteous, and friendly. It is a pleasure to be in his care.
Carers are always pleasant, helpful and very friendly. They assist with anything I require on a visit and ensure everything I need is at hand before they depart. Leaving me safe and well.
Great overall, nurses are very kind and thoughtful. It would be good if some had a little more training. The main carers are wonderful.
The carers are extremely kind, caring, professional and helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them and I'm always well looked after. I cannot commend them highly enough.
Aroma Care are a very good agency. The carers who look after my wife are, without exception, wonderful. They are extremely professional, caring and reliable; my wife is delighted with them.
I was very apprehensive when I came out of the hospital. The two carers I have are very good, made me feel comfortable, and I do not feel at all embarrassed about having to have personal care. I can recommend it to anyone.
We are very pleased with the way the carers look after us. They are very polite and will ask us if there is anything else we need before they leave.
Most frequent male carer is diligent and caring and goes above and beyond his role to care, support and guide. Carers respect my dignity, and given the circumstances, make me feel as comfortable as possible during personal care. The team are as accommodating as they can be to fit care visits around my schedule of physio, etc. I feel safe in their hands. I wouldn't have chosen a male carer, but my main male carer is simply the best! Some male carers are not as experienced as our main male carer and could do with some more training.
Carers arriving late for morning visit, then only staying for 10 minutes instead of the allotted 45mins. Carers reported that they have completed all tasks on the care plan, when they have neglected essential personal care. Carers arguing and being confrontational with elderly parents, refusing to do simple tasks on the care plan such as make the bed, apply cream to pressure areas, put hearing aids in ears. Refusing to change the night catheter bag. Carers arriving 2 hours early in the evening and arguing with frail parents at being asked to come back at the right time. Management contacted and not apologised for any of the above concerns and just became defensive. Informed me and my parents that we had unrealistic expectations of care!!! The CQC rating of 'needs improvement' is still very much relevant and appropriate.
I'm not very happy with the lapse of them leaving my door open 3 times now when my son and grandson came home to find the door unlocked. And I have asked for a shower, which would not take more than 1/2 hour, they said I had to book an appointment, rubbish as they only spend about 10 mins every day, when they are supposed to spend 1/2 hour.
Carers very caring to not only my mum but to me as well. Can sense when mum is in more pain than usual. Always ready to have a laugh and a joke with her.
I was a bit apprehensive about someone coming in to help us get undressed and dressed, and putting elastic stockings on and off I am coeliac and have mishaps with the toilet. The person I have nothing is too much trouble for them in the hot weather; meals are a problem. I have various hospital appointments, and I mention this to the carer, and they adjust times a lot, which enables me to stay in my own home.
Aroma Care are providing excellent care for my elderly father, prior to Aroma Care, Dad has always hated anyone being in the house apart from Family, but he has built up a rapport with the Carers and has said himself that they are excellent and feels very comfortable with them. His health has recently deteriorated after a spell in hospital, and the Carers have just taken this in their stride, never leaving him until he is settled and comfortable, they are also quick to call us with any concerns or questions. When speaking with the Head Office, I have always found them to be very helpful, caring and professional, always happy to pass on my numerous requests these days to the Carers which are always carried out. As a family all of the above, has given us great peace of mind. A big thank you to all at Aroma Care.
Their work and friendship is very good. It is very easy to get on with them, its so easy to talk to my helpers. The review is good and I like the key box.
