The Melody Care team operating in Alton under Lou's guidance was an amazing support - a lifeline - for my 96-year-old Father in the last 15 months of his life. He desperately wanted to remain supported in his own home and without their visits (which went from one a day to four towards the end), he
would not have managed. As I and my brother live overseas, it was imperative our Father had reliable, caring, dedicated and competent home carers, for both his and our peace of mind, and I can say unfalteringly that the Melody team was impeccable. They were with him when he passed away, when family could not be, and showed immense respect and compassion to my Father, even attending his funeral. I can thoroughly recommend Melody to others who need elderly relatives supported in their homes.

I can't thank the carers and managers of Melody Care enough for the care they are providing to my husband at the end of his life and the support they are giving to me. Their job is made more difficult as my husband can't communicate but they always treat him with the utmost care and dignity and
respect and anticipate his needs. He is always pleased to see them and they make him smile. Nothing is too much trouble. They let me know what they have been able to do for him on each visit and post notes on their system providing continuity of care. They are wonderful and always ask me how I'm doing too and I missed them when my husband had to go into hospital. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

I want to express my appreciation for the outstanding care Melody Care provides for my father. Living a long distance away, it can be difficult to stay informed about his wellbeing, but their service makes this much easier and very reassuring. The standard of care is excellent, and it is clear my
father is happy and well looked after. Continuity is especially important as he has Alzheimer's, and Melody provides the consistency and reassurance he needs. Their communication is exceptional. The app is invaluable - I can see exactly what care has been given, when visits take place, and when the next one is due. This makes it simple to plan appointments and manage his needs from afar. In addition, the messaging app group they maintain with our family is fantastic, with immediate responses that allow me to organise medical and personal matters quickly and without stress. The staff are always friendly, adaptable, and genuinely caring. They give me peace of mind.

Melody Care have been looking after my husband since early April and care is ongoing. Although very unwell he is still pretty lively and enjoys chatting with the carers that come to see him. Without exception they are all friendly and kind and we are happy to welcome them into our home. It is
true that some carers are more experienced than their colleagues, and for the first visit of the day an understanding of my husband's requirements does help for the visit to run smoothly for both carer and himself.

The manager and a staff member came to the hospital to meet Mum, Dad, and my sister and I. They were so friendly and kind. Everything was put in place very quickly and we didn't have to worry. After Mum was home, all the carers that visited were extremely kind and friendly and handled Mum with
dignity. They also took Dad's needs into account and looked after him in a kind and friendly manner. Listening to him and my brother sister and I when we needed to talk. Although Mum only had 4 and a half weeks at home I felt we had the best end with Mum, we could have had, with lots of help from the lovely staff of Melody Care.

My mother is receiving End of Life Care at my home in Alton. Melody Care are proving care 4 x daily to help me care for my mum. They have been truly amazing, all the carers are kind and gentle towards my mum, treating her with dignity.
(Manager) has been so supportive to me and is continually
adaptive and responsive to my requests. They also provide breaks for me which enables me to rest or take a break. They have all become a part of our family during our time of need.
I honestly can't thank them enough.

It is always a tough decision to know which agency to go with but we are so pleased we chose Melody Care
The staff showed such kindness and treated my mum with respect and encouraged independence which is very important.
The manager has been very supportive and takes the time to answer any
questions we have which is reassuring and reiterates we made the right decision.
I would recommend them if you want good care and to feel supported as a family.

When my balance problem became serious I felt the need for assistance in the shower. Melody Care was recommended by a family member and they responded immediately to my request for help. Their staff provide a professional, reliable service in a friendly and caring manner. I appreciate having one
specific carer except for holidays, sickness for example. My satisfaction is such that I would not hesitate to recommend Melody Care to anyone needing help.

In my experience all the staff and carers from Melody Care are professional, caring and kind. They are incredibly flexible with any changes to days or time, and always make you feel that nothing is too much trouble. With such a great team on my side I feel we can make my cousin's life comfortable

Melody Care is a good company and its staff are loyal and as good as can be expected. They keep to the timetable as best they can, given traffic and their family circumstances. I have nothing to compare them with, so it makes a difficult review.
My wife, who gets a break when they come (they get me
up, washed and dressed, all in half an hour every morning) thinks 'they do a good job'. All the carers are lovely people; although it would be nicer to have fewer of them.

We used Melody Care 4 times in 2023 to care for my husband who initially fell in March 2023 and had a very bad break of his upper arm ending up in hospital for two and a half weeks. Melody Care came promptly when asked following his discharge and then came again 3 other times during the year - after
a haematoma and another hospital stay, a broken foot and lastly in October after a remedial operation on his arm/shoulder. The Melody Care staff were responsive, caring and very helpful and we would certainly use them again. I am disabled and the staff were always keen to ensure they did what they could for me as well while my husband was incapacitated.

I used them to supervise post-operative exercises and icing after knee replacement surgery. Spare time was used to do any jobs like ironing or food preparation. Everyone attending was good-humoured and attentive.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff that have looked after my mother over the last seven years. They have and continue to ensure her safety and promote her independence. They have baked with her and take her out shopping so that she can access the local community. My
mother required care in her early fifties and was grateful for the respect shown and acknowledgement of her younger age. Management are easily contactable, supportive and responsive to her changing needs and requirements. Reviews are conducted regularly ensuring her wishes are taken on board. I know they will contact me if they have any concerns. So very grateful.

Melody Care have been looking after my dad for the past seven months and I cannot praise them enough.
My parents are very independent and when they finally agreed to having help it was reluctantly. Melody Care were supportive but more importantly, they were empathetic. Soon their main carer became
part of the family. She took time to get to know them and the things that interested them. My mum was included in decisions going forward and was made to feel that she still had an important role in the care of my dad.
Communication is excellent and when the unexpected happens they are always willing to go the extra mile to help.
