View Full Details of Lotus Home Care LeedsWe have used Lotus Home Care for just over a year and have been very pleased with the care given. My dad has a regular carer, this has allowed my dad to build up a lovely relationship with him and his carer has to know dad really well. When dads care package needed amending due to his health deteriorating, Lotus talked me through what needed to be done re, social workers etc. The new care package was set up and ready to go within 3/4 hours.
Could you please ask carers to wear uniforms + pp6 i.e. aprons shoes covers + change of gloves. The majority don't wear them! Thank you.
The carers that Lotus have provided for me have always been punctual professional and friendly. In previous months they have been quick to notice that I needed an ambulance which ultimately saved my life.
It is difficult for my wife and I to build up a rapport with the carers as we do not see the same ones regularly enough. We use the app to make plans for the week ahead with the carers. My wife has had some family issues and has spoken to the designated carer only to find it has been another carer who has attended and has not been aware of the change of needs if my wife is not present.
Organised team, access to open pass very helpful. Carers are professional, kind and caring. They have taken the time to get to know our father and listen to his stories. House always clean and tidy.
The general care is ok and my mother is happy. However, as one of the main reasons for carers is the supervision of medication, when carers do not turn up until around 11am on weekends (not every weekend) this means my mums morning medication is taken too late in the day and too close to the evening medication.
My overall experience is very good, the ladies are caring and really help me. I enjoy my shopping trips too, that they take me on.
Overall experience is satisfactory I would like to see the same carers permanently as far as possible and also timing seems to be an issue which I have reported on a lot of occasions.
I am confident with my carers, a good relationship has been created with them and I am pleased with the overall package.
The carers provided by Lotus Home Care are very professional, courteous and highly trained. Every detail of my care plan is adhered to and I also enjoy talking to the carers too. My carers also are well dressed and wear the company uniform and arrive at the appointments promptly. I have been with Lotus for over 3 years and the care I have had has been exceptional. All the carers help me wash and dress myself and make my breakfast which I cannot do on my own. Well done to a great care team.
Carers are fine. Could be more consistent with the times given by office. Overall good.
I am very satisfied with all the staff they are smart and will do anything I ask. My husband likes the men as he gets a shower and prefers a man.
Mum is much happier now she is having the same carers and getting up at the same time each morning, and meal times. We much appreciate this.
We had no experience with the "care" system before the year. I have been pleasantly surprised by what I have found. The carers are all nice people and are polite and pleasant and get in with their duties in a professional manner. Indeed I actively look forward to their daily visits.
Review has not changed. Sometimes carers come late. Then I get annoyed. They don't let me know. It's same questions.
Same carer for 18 months - with approximately 30 - 40 carers to assist her. Never informed about changes to times etc. Sometimes appear 1 hour early or 1 hour late. No messages! The office from which they work never contact. If we lose our main carer we would look for another provider.
I am very happy with the company. The office keeps me informed if there are any changes that would affect me. The two people who are my carers are very nice and are very respectful towards me and take time to listen to me if I need to tell them of anything to do with my illnesses.

The carers are absolutely brilliant and have given me support, encouragement and most importantly empathy, help and good consistency due to working a four/three rota which is helpful to me, the carers and my family.
