View Full Details of Safe Choice CareWe were first visited by Safe Choice Care carers in August 2024. Their carers visit us twice a day, seven days a week. We cannot praise and thank their carers enough. They are extremely professional, friendly and helpful. They do not rush their visits. They show great kindness not just to my husband but also to me.
I am as always tremendously grateful for the care given to my mum by all the carers, particularly now they are going 3 times a day. There are just a couple of niggles which I hope can be resolved as time goes on and mum's routine becomes more familiar. 1. I have left what I hope are helpful notes on the kitchen cupboard but sometimes they are not followed e.g I asked for a slice of bread to be left out of the freezer at lunchtime to defrost for tea under clingfilm but sometimes it goes stale as it's not covered in cling. 2. Some carers still call my mum by the wrong name. 3. I have the app so I can check in what's going on but sometimes the notes don't make sense - the English and spelling are so bad. I need to know as I live in Essex. 4. One carer unfortunately forgot to give mum her medication. As I said though, I am very happy on the whole with the care given to mum. Thank you all.
Mostly very friendly carers, occasionally a little hasty and careless with wasteful use of disposable items such as wet/dry wipes, puppy mats etc which over time can be quite costly. Most engage well with the service user. Office very friendly, accommodating and well organised. Invoicing clear.
Mum seems very pleased with the carers that come to see her and is a lot less worried than she was about getting up and dressed in the morning. She says the staff are always friendly and she has a chat and a joke with them. The only negative I can think of is how much the timing of the visit varies. Mum does not sleep well and is not a morning person, so very early visits can leave her a bit stressed.
I have found that Safe Choice Care have exceeded my expectations in the six months or so that they have been providing care for my sister-in-law. The carers have always been polite, helpful and friendly. When there has been unexpected problems my wife and I have always been contacted promptly so that the situation can be resolved. In addition any concerns we have had have been quickly resolved by the Management team.
Very caring staff who looked after my mother. She was happy with the care she received, because as well as looking after her to a high standard, they also engaged with her and she enjoyed the chats. The staff did their best and mum was well looked after.
Very satisfied with the ongoing care of my father. Care is tailored to his needs and given sensitively. Safe Choice has always been easy to contact and I have been more than happy with the care given to both of my parents, putting our minds at rest.
All the carers are very kind and caring to my Mother and Uncle. They have seen my Mum deteriorate dramatically over the past year, yet they remain patient and kind. Their support and care helps enormously and provides my mum with personal needs, meals and medication administration. My Uncle has become very accepting of their help too. They are very gentle and understanding with them both. Management is excellent also, always happy to help with any concerns that may arise. They are approachable, kind and understanding and always make me feel listened to. As a family, we feel lucky to have such an amazing team looking after our loved ones. It gives me peace of mind and reassurance that they are, indeed, 'safe' with Safe Choice. Thank you so much everyone.
I am very happy with the love and care shown to my mother by all the carers who visit. I can't think of anything more to add. Thank you all very much.
Safe Choice has looked after my mum for over 2 years now and they do an amazing job. They meet my mum's needs and the carers are all lovely, helpful and supportive towards my mum. Definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for help.
Excellent service provided by Safe Choice. We like the app where we can see their visit observations - a really useful tool for us. My sister-in-law has found all the carers friendly and helpful. If there is a significant delay in their arrival we are contacted, likewise if there is a problem. To date very happy with the service provided and would recommend.
Safe Choice has been excellent for my mum - really friendly reliable carers who take the time to chat with Mum and help her with small tasks, not just prompt her to take her tablets. They quickly raise any concerns with their office and me, which means I can make sure Mum gets outside help as needed (nurse appointment etc). Any issues have been dealt with quickly and professionally. No hesitation in recommending Safe Choice.
Carers are helpful and reliable. Have endless patience. Stay in contact and give updates. Management is easy to get hold of. Mum is comfortable around carers. As the years have gone by, her memories and moods have declined and they are aware of how to deal with dementia patients and show a lot of empathy.
The care and treatment that my father has received have always been first-class. The carers have always been polite and courteous to my father when attending to my father's needs and care on a daily basis.
I am very happy with the service that we receive from two members of staff in particular when they are together, they are always very polite, have a laugh with the client and engage well. They both always manage to make my father smile and laugh, even when he is having a bad day, their level of care is phenomenal. They are both very professional at all times, polite and courteous, they engage with all members of the family when present and we have never had a bad experience with them. They are both an asset to have as a team, and we are very happy to have them attending as regular carers as a team for my father. Another carer who is always really well received, he is always professional and polite also, and as above engages well. I would love for you to pass my feedback on to the carers.
The carers from Safe Choice are all real caring people. That's what counts to me more than anything. My wife was in the care profession for 40 years. Now it's her turn to be cared for. They certainly do.
I find Safe Choice Care an excellent service with friendly people at the end of the phone in the office, we are very pleased with the standard of care given and the care taken to ensure our family member is well cared for.
All staff are very friendly, would prefer a more consistent approach to timings of visits. Appreciate that unexpected events when visiting clients can impact the rest of the day's schedule, but for example; Sat 09:09, Sun 08:11, Mon 10:02, Tues 07:47, Weds 08:17, Thurs 09:09.
Helpful and kind carers visiting 3 times per day, making sure Mum has food and drink available. Washing up done too. Help with dressing and personal care including checking incontinence pads in place.
My mum has Alzheimer’s and we’ve got to a stage to need some companion care. Safe Choice is the only company I contacted, I contacted them and here we are. Mum has her main assistant and I've also met her other carer. Mum has settled and is quite excited to see her main assistant, Mum speaks highly of her, which is great to hear. For us as a family, it’s given us extra time to do what we need to do, knowing Mum is looked after. It really makes a difference to our lives having a company and their team helping to relieve the stress. As I always say; if Mum’s happy, we’re happy!
