This is an updated review regarding care received for my daughter who has learning difficulties.
We started care in March '24 ,care was initially good.
Unfortunately from June things started to decline.
Lots of staff changes, no continuity especially from July/August.
When my daughter's contract
started we were clear she needed encouragement, companionship, and continuity.
We soon realised none of the staff drove making days out impossible and time keeping questionable.
Command of the English language was very poor, which was very difficult because my daughter needed good communication skills due to her learning difficulties.
Two members of staff were far more caring than others but unfortunately we didn't have these often. Most days we would have no idea who would turn up.
Rainbow Outreach staff and management need more training to deal with learning disabilities. I believe there is a lack of knowledge regarding neurodiversity.
Other areas of care I'm sure are fine but LD is not.

Carers provide companionship and support for my friend in a care home. She suffers from dementia. The carers are kind, attentive and well-meaning. Their command of the English language needs to be improved as it limits their ability to communicate effectively.

My wife has vascular dementia and is unable to walk or stand. Our carers from Rainbow are superb, they are kind and compassionate and we could not manage without them. They call three times a day to help her wash and dress in the morning, a midday visit to ensure she is comfortable and in the
evening to get her ready for bed, they are always courteous and understanding. They are a pleasure to have in our home and I find them trustworthy and dependable. We owe them a great debt and all I can really say is a huge thank you.

We have been using Rainbow Outreach (Northallerton) since mid-January 2023 (about 15 months) and have found their service to have been above and beyond our most optimistic expectations. Communication and arrangement have been excellent and over that time we have received a number of carers, all of
whom we have found to be good, the majority have been excellent and a few are well above and beyond the call of duty!
Professional, diligent, empathetic and attentive and adaptive to our changing needs. Unfortunately, cannot comment on Value for Money as we are not paying and do not see the cost, but to us, it has been invaluable, through some very challenging times.

Highly recommend, very professional, excellent care and time keeping, excellent service, highly recommend for your loved ones to have excellent care in their own home with the professional carers, thank you.
