I have dealt with 1stDirect and it's predecessor, Ainsworth for more than 20 years. I have never been let down by them. Several of the carers have become long-term family friends going back 20 years

So pleased with how mum has been looked after since contacting first home care for support. From the initial contact everything has been smooth and reassurance given. I was with mum when a carer arrived one morning and just listening to them both chatting and the required support given was actually
a pure relief that I could trust the team chosen for mum.

The admin and management team have always been very efficient, helpful and extremely patient with our family and situation. Quick to respond to emails and phone calls, all carers who attend to my parents are very good at what they do. Very professional and caring. We're so glad they are a part of
their daily care.

1st Homecare have been caring for my 92-year-old mother for several months. Having been disappointed with the care provided by other agencies, I was relieved and delighted to have found 1st Homecare. The company is outstanding in its professionalism and efficiency, and all their carers are
experienced, compassionate and sensitive to mum's needs as a sight-impaired dementia sufferer with limited mobility. Their health and safety practices are thorough and robust, and I feel confident that my mum is being well cared for. Mum's care plan is under constant review as her needs change and any requests from me are dealt with promptly. For me, seeing my mum relaxed and reassured when she is with the carers is the best measure of the care being given. 1st Homecare has given me peace of mind and I cannot praise them highly enough.

All the carers my mum has are really kind and helpful. They are very caring towards my mum. She enjoys their daily visits.
The office staff are really lovely too. Always willing to help with any queries.

Lovely staff, office and care sector,all very professional and friendly, couldn't ask for better carers , who do all they can to accommodate all the different needs we as service users have. I am absolutely happy with the service the company provides and would recommend them 100% .

Always there to support, make suggestions, adaptable when necessary and quick to respond to additional needs. 1st Homecare have made a big difference to not only my mum's life, but also my dad's and the rest of the families life. Huge Thank you, we could not have got through the last 3 years

It is so important and a relief to know that a carer will be coming in each day and to know that they are efficient, friendly and able to provide the help needed. I would not be able to cope without their help and they are always cheerful and ready to listen, asking how I am getting on and always
asking if there is anything else that needs to be done before they leave.

From the initial meeting with 1st Homecare & Dad, we were immediately impressed with the detail, care & respect that was provided. Now the care package is in place, we are very happy and reassured that Dad is being well looked after. The carers are professional & compassionate, giving us peace of

Having a carer for dad allows me to have time out. The service provided by carer and office staff is excellent. I couldn't cope without them.

The Kings Langley 1st Homecare team have been superb support through a very challenging time. All of the carers have shown compassion and kindness when caring for my father which has been greatly appreciated.

As a new user of 1st Homecare, my experience has been excellent, they have been very proactive at highlighting any issues that may arise with my Mum's care. They are very efficient and a pleasure to work with and most importantly Mum is very happy.

Dad has remained capable and independent, living on his own into his nineties, but has recently reluctantly agreed to start receiving some initial care support at home as he has become more frail and is finding things a lot harder. The office staff and carers from 1st Homecare Kings Langley have all
been very helpful, supportive, and understanding of his situation, his developing needs, and his continuing independent personality and character, and are working hard to gain his trust and confidence.

My hearing and mobility are somewhat impaired but the carers make allowances. The times which they come are irregular and sometimes they find it hard to say when they will be coming the next day. They are always polite. On the whole, I am satisfied with the service. I find it a little expensive and
dealing with Hertfordshire Councty Council on the phone is very frustrating.

Very satisfied with care. Carers are punctual and pleasant, like friends. I could not stay in my home without them - I am very grateful.
