I have been looking for a carer agency with dementia experience for over two and a half years for my Mum. It’s been especially difficult given they live in Harwich. I found so many wouldn’t travel the distance. Since early June 2020, PBS Care started looking after Mum at bedtime and also making my
parents a light tea at 5pm. All I can say is “nothing is too much trouble”. The nominated individual has been absolutely superb in her care, understanding of dementia, advice on medication, attention to detail, and the agency’s holistic approach to looking after my parents as a couple is exemplary. Communication between agency and family is a great support in what is a stressful time. Please don’t hesitate to contact them for help with your family member. I’m so glad I took that step. Thank you.
