View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Rothwell)After contacting the Rothwell office I was given a quick appointment for the manager to visit and make an assessment of my mother in laws needs .I found the manager very professional, so kind and caring manner .Visits were quickly arranged to suit . My mother in Law has found the help and care given amazing , not only from the physical help but enjoys the company and kindness from the care staff . I can only give praise to the carers , manager and office staff for their understanding and first class service.
The staff at the Rothwell branch have been absolutely brilliant in putting in more appropriate care for my mum whose care needs changed recently. They acted very quickly and made valuable suggestions to make things easier for my mum. It's great to know they are there on hand to support us and are always contactable . The actual carers who regularly visit my mum are fantastic and cannot do enough to help her with daily activities and provides both practical help and friendly reassurance to my mum. I cannot recommend them enough.
My mother has dementia and finds it almost impossible to cope with unfamiliar people. Helping Hands Rothwell have worked extremely hard to provide a regular pattern of carers who my mother is familiar with and this has made a world of difference to her wellbeing and to my peace of mind as her daughter.
My families engagement with Helping Hands team have been excellent from day 1. From working through what actual care package was required to providing the friendly and emotional support to both my parents. My interaction with the team in terms of the onsite 'Carers' and the team at the office in Rothwell has always been professional and very respectful and knowledgeable. Having the local presence has always been a benefit. We would recommend the Helping Hands team for anyone that is in the position where these types of services are required.
Generally ok.
I have had a good experience with Helping Hands, their team is professional, compassionate and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure quality care. The carers are friendly, well-trained and genuinely care about their clients wellbeing. Communication has been smooth, and any concerns are addressed promptly. There is always room for improvements, but overall the service has been reliable and supportive. I would highly recommend Helping Hands to anyone in need of quality care.
Generally the teams of carers are good. Efficient, friendly and punctual, there are exceptional carers within the group. For the most part most of the carers carry out the procedures as requested but the first timers struggle and take some time to get into the swing of things. On the whole good/excellent service and reasonable price.
I was struggling to cope on my own and desperate for helping to keep Mum well cared for in her own environment. I came across Helping Hands and they were a real lifeline for both me and Mum. Mum and I were apprehensive about getting help but we had no need to be, as soon as we were introduced to the staff we felt we were in good hands. The ladies who take care of Mum are very kind and considerate. They do an amazing job and we are very grateful for the help and support.
As Mum is not able to speak for herself, I can only say that my experience with Helping Hands has been very positive. The carers, without exception, have been kind, considerate and patient. At times she has been very ill, but I think due to their support and care, she pulls through. I could not ask for more.
My husband and I were very pleased to have (word of mouth) about Helping Hands as old age and his dementia progresses. I am wife of 57 years and cvarer to him with my own mobility issues (strokes and fractures. He is on oxygen, four heart bypasses at 50 and many other medical needs to attribute the nurses most days for dressing. However Helping Hands staff come and give him a good shower/shaving once a week. Which he appreciates and their expertise is welcomed. If we need more help from Helping Hands we know it is there.
I find your care helpful, very kind and I really enjoy the visits and look forward to them.
We have been using these care services for almost a year now, and the great help and support they provide is a huge reassurance for us, the family. They have lovely carers who really make a difference.
The team have always been so helpful since we began to use the service. Contacting the branch is easy with the phone answered promptly. Everyone goes out of their way to help and answer questions. Having the rota of who is planned to visit is really helpful and gives Dad an idea of who is coming/continuity. The response to restarting Dad’s visits recently earlier than planned was fantastic, giving us peace of mind. We also appreciate the team endeavouring to support earlier visits to facilitate hospital appointments.
The best thing we ever did was choose Helping Hands to care for my Uncle. The exceptional coordinators and the wonderful girls who care for my Uncle are truly amazing. I have noticed such a difference in my Uncle's mood and general well-being since we switched to Helping Hands. They are very professional in all they do and most of all very caring. They have encouraged and succeeded in helping my Uncle to do things that he was finding difficult to do. Just this week on one of their visits my Uncle was very breathless. They rang his GP without hesitation and the coordinator informed me straight away. They really do go above and beyond. From recommending things to entertain my Uncle to making him really lovely plates of food. At last, I can be confident that all my Uncles needs are been met.
Both carers were friendly, sociable and very helpful.
