Two days in and I had great concerns about the care my father was receiving. The handling of my dad was poor to say the least. He was pulled by his arm when trying to get him out of his chair. There was no interaction with him, just single words used like eat, up, bed etc. I complained to the
company about my concerns and things did Improve. One carer was partially unkind to my dad and didn't consider his complex needs although no one should be spoken to like that. We had installed cameras to keep an eye on my dad because of him falling, the carers knew they were there, I dred to think what may have happened if we didn't have them.
The company was extremely sorry and promised things would improve which they did. The carer who was unkind didn't go back. We only used this company for 5 days because my dad went into hospital and died 24 hours later. I wouldn't use this company again that's for sure and if I ever had to use any care company again I would definitely install cameras.

Greatly disappointed and deeply saddened by the lazy attitude and lack of any care from Mercylink.
Carer was required to assist a young adult with complex learning difficulties into living on his own. Instead of helping with any light duties or enquiring on any bills, would sit playing with his
Rubik’s cube and leave up to 1 hour early most days because of boredom.
Medication ran out on 3 occasions and family members had to collect and come over weekly to assist with everything that the carer was payed to do but had no interest in doing. The company have bought nothing but a extra heavy load of stress and a huge bill for a already disadvantaged adult. I would never recommend Mercylink to anyone.

Not at all happy with the standard or consistency of care provided by Mercylink. My mother is terminally ill and requires care, compassion, and carers who know how to care for those that are dying. I do not recommend that you let them try to look after your loved ones.
