The timing of calls were all over the place. The appointed carer, whilst being genuine and caring in her manner, was clumsy and slapdash. She broke my vacuum cleaner, vacuumed up my phone cables, damaged my chest-of-drawers and scraped a skirting board but denied all damage. She also complained when I requested that she unpack 3 boxes of "nappies", protesting that there were too many boxes and that I had ordered too much. Once she'd established herself here, she began to dictate the jobs she wanted to do, and they had to be done her way, and she argued if I asked her to do something differently. She also did not know what a window sill was, or what a kitchen towel was or what dampening something meant. She requires a great deal more training, and her English must improve. The Office management were easy to talk to, eager to oblige, patient and courteous and a pleasure to do business with. No complaints about the Office staff, but the carers themselves remain a work-in-progress, I feel.
I am very happy with the care and support my husband receives from Vine Living. The carers are excellent and my husband is well looked after. I can trust them to take care of him whilst I go to the shops. I am happy with the times the carers come and I am informed of any changes either on the phone, in person or via email. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs care. Thank you, Vine Living team.
Having cared for my husband for 5 months handing this over to carers was not easy however Vine Living made it seamless. Carers were in place the next day and there were no issues, they are experienced and understand his Parkinson's complex needs regarding patience and communication. The carers take into consideration that this is our home and respect it. They also complete their full allocation filling their time with other jobs required to enable my husband to remain in control as much as he can. I have no concerns regarding my husband's care and now have more time to relax. I couldn't wish for better. Thank you, Vine.
Vine Living have cared for my mum in her home for nearly a year. Mum was treated with respect and dignity. Caters polite and trustworthy. Mum liked how she was not treated as a child, catered to the same time which helped mum as she likes to have a routine and know when things are happening.
Taking on the care of my mother-in-law was made easy with no worry about having staff available that she could understand and felt comfortable with. Excellent and considerate care was given to settle into our home and worked with us to have very little impact on our busy lives. All staff are kind and professional.
Excellent and considerate care given to my very challenging elder brother. Common sense and kindness in abundance. I have no worries about my brother's welfare, so this Home Care Provider has my full confidence and thanks.
The team has responded to our needs/fears/worries with kindness, professionalism and care. All treat us as individuals and make us feel that we matter. The level of competence is extremely high and gives us great confidence. We feel that we can now look forward - and we even enjoy our days! (Despite only one leg!). Thank you!
The care I am receiving is very good, and their timing is good. They go over and above their duties which I find very helpful. They are friendly and caring, and I am very happy with the carers allocated to me.
