Semy Care provided an excellent service of care for my husband. Every member of staff was very professional showed a high level of experience and were very caring in the way they carried out their tasks and communication with him despite the difficulties with his mobility, hearing and sight loss.
Relationship with the carers and management were quickly established and very good indeed. I have no hesitation in recommending Semy Care (Norwich).

Just to let you know that Semy Care was absolutely excellent, they were so kind and caring. Brian looked forward to them coming right to the end. They always arrived on time and treated Brian with dignity. I couldn't have managed without them. Many thanks indeed to them.

Excellent care, even though it was for less than 1 week. All carers very caring, knowledgeable and kind to my husband receiving the care and to myself. Very professional. On time.

Review relates to care from June 2025 until 20th January 2026. My step-mother became unable to look after herself through heart failure and vascular dementia in June 2025. After reviewing a number of care providers, we decided Semy Care for the following reasons; they could provide qualified carers
immediately; their manager understood immediately the type of care required, and our concerns; they were willing to be flexible depending on my step-mothers requirements, building up to nearly full time care with the same team to preserve continuity.
During the course of the 6 months care, the personnel provided by Semy care were consummate professional, building a caring and supportive relationship with my step mother who looked forward to seeing them every day.
The organisation and management of Semy Care was exemplary, better than other carers whom we let go in favour of Semy Care. Their manager was always available, day or night, in support of her staff and us (family).
The costs were very reasonable when compared to other homecare providers, and the staff were extremely well trained and knowledgeable when liaising with visiting doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
We believe Semy Care to be exceptional, and are extremely grateful to them.

I have been with this Home Care Provider now for 5 months and I would not change them for the world. The service is exemplary and each carer is friendly, considerate and goes above and beyond my expectations. Any specific needs and changes are dealt with in a thoroughly professional manner, the
number of complaints I have made are .. NIL!

All the carers who attended my mum in her last weeks, were very respectful, polite and professional, learn very quickly her likes and dislikes- she was always pleased to see them, which means a lot to the family. Outstanding care. Thank you.

The carers were lovely and caring and trustworthy for my mum and step dad, for time when they were needed for recovery for my mum to do the evening meal and get my mum undressed for bed as of her broken wrist.
The communication with the hub was great and understanding if their needs.

Overall I thought the caring team did an excellent job to my late wife Linda. Always smiling and polite. Linda did brighten up a bit when they came to see her. I have no complaints about the care offered.

The two wonderful carers that came to support my mother in her final days at home were the loveliest, most caring people. They genuinely cared about my mother and were so polite and respectful. I would love to mention their names because I would thoroughly recommend these two to anyone who was going
through what we went through, as they made it so much nicer and easier.

Semy Care provided excellent end of life care for my mum. The carers were friendly, polite and professional at all times. The team looked after mum with great kindness and respect. I cannot thank the team enough for their assistance in supporting mum with personal care in her final weeks, allowing
us to care for her at home, surrounded by her family as per her final wishes.

The team from Semy Care were excellent. They listened to the family and were very respectful of the service user and the family wishes. They never appeared rushed and had time to talk about the history and likes/dislikes of the service user. They settled in quickly and it was an honour to have April
look after my mum in her last few days. I could not speak higher of Semy Care and passed on their details to district nurses and the doctors.

Although my husband was home for end-of-life care the kindness and respect the carers (Dan and Elisabeth) offered him was exemplary. At every stage he was deferred to and his decisions respected. As a family we cannot thank the care team enough.

semycare helped to enable my husband to die as he wished, at home surrounded by his family. They provided kind and respectful care, using his name and chatting as they worked. The night sitter deserves special praise for her kindness and support during his final 5 nights enabling his exhausted
family to get some rest.

-But most importantly at this stage of life's journey they were friendly in a positive way. My husband had lost any sense of dignity but in a way they restored it for him. All in all a very positive
