View Full Details of Caring at Home Your Way LtdMy mum has been receiving care from the team for roughly 6 months. Everyone I have spoken to has been very friendly and kind. The visits have always been reliable as well. Communication with staff has also been excellent.
Cannot praise them enough - it is upsetting to find the right care team for your Dad with Alzheimer's, so I was nervous but Annie put me at ease right away, calm, natural and easy-going. No time pressure while explaining about my dad, and all my ideal care requests for him the manager scheduled in within a couple of days. Her company prefers to keep a small team of carers per client. The manager herself conducted the first few weeks' visits so he felt comfortable before she gradually introduced the next two carers, visiting together until he felt comfortable with them too. They provide him with the informal relaxed companionship I asked for, no uniforms, serve him drinks/snacks, take newspapers and even respond to my daily messages requesting a certain TV channel for his favourite sport! They are now the trusted companions we both need for the days I'm not there. I highly recommend this small company for their personal, easygoing and "nothing too much trouble" ethos.
The manager and the team have been excellent through out from first helping my mum a few times a week to now 24/7care. Nothing seems to be to much of a problem and they take my Mums care in their stride. Dementia can be very distressing and the care team seem to be professional and proficient in all their duties with my Mums care. I would recommend the team no problem at all
Client needs always come first. Nothing seems a problem with all their staff. Always polite and professional and when needed go beyond their normal routine, if you need more help than what you normally need.
Outstanding service. I am informed in advance who will be attending to my father (it is always the same three carers) so that he is aware of who to expect. All carers go above and beyond in their care and look to do jobs in the house that may need doing to keep my father safe, clean, and happy. My father and I are incredibly happy with this service and would recommend their services to any family and friends.
Care providers are honest and forthcoming. Will go beyond the needs of the client at times will provide the service the client needs, and respects family wishes as well. I thank them all. The client is treated respectfully, and dignity remains to the client that is accustomed to.
My 91-year-old mother has a short morning visit to support her with getting ready for the day. She mostly has the same carers who she looks forward to seeing. We are all happy with the service and carer who has helped with contacting the pharmacy when there has been a mix-up with medication. It has been a good decision to use the company.
The company responded quickly to our sudden needs. The small team of carers provide consistent, sensitive and highly professional support. Whilst proving useful information and 'tips', they always take account of our preferences and wishes. We feel safe with them and trust them completely.
A small, caring team. Very flexible and responsive to my parents’ needs. Good communication at all times. It is nice to find an agency who are all familiar with my mother and her routines. A familiar face is very important.
I am very pleased with the service provided. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the carers. Any last-minute problems are dealt with.
My sisters and I have found all the carers to be friendly. Having both parents with different needs can be a challenge. We have daily reports written which we find very useful, especially with meals as one parent has dementia and the other has had a stroke. Our overall care experience has been very good. Thank you team.
The carers for this company have looked after my mother for six years, firstly as private carers until they started their own company, Caring at Home Your Way. My mother had a stroke some years ago and now has dementia. She has no mobility and relies on her carers for all of her needs and her carers are always there to assist her with a smile and very good humour! My mum can be difficult at times, she is deaf and cannot speak and understand us most of the time any more than we can understand her when she wants to communicate with us, however, her carers demonstrate great patience and I'm so impressed with the way they spend time with her and it's a gift that only dedicated carers have and not just anyone would have. I am certain that without these marvellous carers over the years my mother would be in a care home and, sad to say, would not be alive today. The one-to-one attention that she receives has been a blessing to our family and my grateful thanks can never be enough. Thanks.
