View Full Details of Curant Care - DartfordThis is my first experience of being supported by carers and find the experience excellent. Each carer arrives with a cheery greeting and big smile, is friendly, prompt, professional and kindly putting my needs and situation first and foremost. Their support has enabled me to rebuild my confidence and independence enabling me to remain in my own home. Each carer works hard during the time allocated and it is reassuring to have the opportunity for consistency of carers working with me, as well as a chance to chat, sometimes giggle, provide lovely breakfasts and evening meals, snacks and cups of tea! They seem to know when to challenge me, intervene and make suggestions to help with my recovery of damage following falls and ensure I am comfortable and happy before they leave. The administration staff are always ready to help and make regular contact with me to see how things are going, keep me informed of changes and answer questions. I would recommend Curant Care without hesitation.
All the carers are wonderful and excellent at the work and effort they put in to helping me when I struggle with things like shopping, cleaning and budgeting. I fully recommend this care support company.
My mother required care and I was given Curant Care Dartford's number. One staff member in particular was our contact and the short time my mother was here, her care given by this company was so caring and trusting. I am so grateful for all they done and was confident at all times that my mother was being treated with exactly the help she needed. A lovely company and thank you.
During the early days of trying to find carers for my mum, Curant Care were friendly and helpful without being pushy. They have always been able to sort out queries I had, quickly and without stress, plus gave great advice on gadgets that would help my mum in her home. Finally, I would thoroughly recommend them.
My mum is very pleased with the service she receives. The carers are very pleasant to her, hard working, kind and helpful. She especially appreciated having them in extra times after she left hospital following her broken hip. They really make a difference to help and help her to be able to stay in her own home.
One staff member in particular is the best carer I've ever had, in 12 years of relying on care. She is always friendly, helpful and lifts my spirits. She goes above and beyond on daily basis. This year my health has rapidly declined and she's taken on even more responsibility to assist me, with hospital appointments and my support group. Everyone at my support group wants their own carer just like her. You need to clone her!
Since changing care providers for my parents, Curant Care have been very receptive to our wishes. My parents have taken to the 2 carers very well, despite my concerns with having new people taking over their care and the confusion this would cause them. Both carers are very patient and understanding with my parents, who both suffer from dementia. The office staff have also been very good in communicating concerns with me so we can find an agreeable solution to any concerns raised. Sometimes, their confusion can cause problems, but the relaxed and cheery nature of the carers seems to work for us well.
Very good. The 2 carers supplied by your good selves are very experienced and very happy people. I would highly recommended them. Even the other 2 carers who cover for them in holiday times are also excellent.
A big thank you to the Curant Care staff and also the office staff, who always have time and ideas to help us manage Dad's care. Very adaptable to the changes that need to be made for Dad's ongoing care. Professional, kind, friendly, and reliable. Without the planning and team effort that the team share working together with us, Dad would not have been able to manage to stay in his own home.
I chose Curant Care for my mother-in-law who has Dementia. The team has made a huge difference in our lives (especially Mum). We now know with 100% certainty that she is being looked after, her clothes are washed, and she's being fed, cleaned, and treated like a valued member of her community. As a carer, my Mum always told me that she never wanted to go into a Care home and was most definitely not keen on having carers in her home. However, having Dementia means that home support has been an absolute necessity for her. She's much happier and although she doesn't realise it, it's as a direct result of the support we get from the management and team at Curant Care.
As a family, we can't thank Curant Care enough for allowing us to have peace of mind knowing our loved one is being cared for by such wonderful, caring, patient, and loving carers. From the word go, Curant Care has been nothing but professional, communication is excellent, and the carers are now part of the family, we feel so lucky it has been such an easy process for us. Our loved one has now built up a relationship with all her carers and is trusting them to help her in various ways. The carers have been patient and understanding building a great relationship with Mum, their visits are full of fun and laughter. Carers are always on time and stay at their allocated time. If they are worried about Mum or have any problems they are quick to contact us. Calls are covered by regular carer's, if calls need to be covered by someone different we are contacted by the office. Changes to the Care plan, which there have been a few are quickly dealt with.
We have only had Curant Care for close to 2 weeks now after being recommended by an existing client of theirs. I have nothing but praise for the ladies who visit Mum and she is brighter each time they visit. The carers are all lovely and I fully trust them to enter our home on their own and they even say hello to our dog and give her a treat. It is a worry to put the care of a loved one into someone else's hands, a stranger's hand, but I need not worry with the level of service I have received right from the initial telephone call to them. From our experience so far, your loved one and their home will be safe in their hands.
I am very happy with the care my husband has been receiving. Every carer that has come into our home has treated us all with the utmost respect and kindness. We feel so confident and comfortable with the carers, they are easy to talk to and it's nice to have a laugh and joke at times. It now feels like they are a part of our family. I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who currently cares for my husband.
All my carers are very good kind polite and helpful in caring for me. Always on time and always see to my needs office staff arrange to meet and greet before commencing my carer, and office staff arrange for me to go to hospital appointments at short notice.
I have found the team to be extremely responsive to all my requests. I have observed them carrying out their work and it has always been with a smile and in a caring way. We’ve had a difficult family time recently, health-wise, and the team really stepped up to fill the gaps and provide whatever assistance is required, taking a burden off my shoulders. I couldn’t ask for more.
I cannot speak highly enough of the Curant Care team who looked after my father for around a year. My father wasn't the easiest of people to deal with, especially with the female staff. To be honest I wasn't easy to deal with either, because I took a large interest in how he was being cared for. All the team who dealt with Dad were very professional, and also got involved with district nurse calls and GP's etc. It was a stressful time for myself and the family, but nothing was a problem, even when it came to needing appointments changed. The care coordinator answered the phone to me even when she was off duty, and the lads always communicated with me if they had concerns about Dad's welfare. One thousand characters is not enough to express my gratitude for easing the load of looking after my father. Even though Dad was awkward they still had a fondness for him, and he made them laugh. On my father's passing, some of the team came to his funeral. I can't thank you all enough.
Curant Care provided care for my mum, who has dementia and my dad, who had a nasty fall down the stairs a few months ago. It allowed me to go away on a much-needed holiday without worrying. The live-in carer was fantastic. Very friendly and they were sad to see her leave at the end of the week. Will definitely be using them for my next break.
The field care supervisor and her staff were excellent in the short time we used their service. They treated my father with respect and care in the last few days of his life. I cannot praise or recommend them enough. They were on time and very knowledgeable and helpful.
The staff have been wonderful to the family. My mother was an outgoing, independent lady who was the life of the party and socials. Through life challenges she needed additional support and since the team have been involved they have helped her confidence and regaining herself to that person she wants to be. All the team, from the point of phone call being picked up, the carers themselves and management, have been warm, considerate and open to helping the family and, most importantly, enable my mother to achieve her objectives and enable herself again to the best of her abilities. I wholeheartedly feel like this team is now an extension of my family given our interactions, personalised approach and open approach to supporting us. My huge thanks and appreciation to this team for all they are doing with us together and long may they continue doing the life-changing work they do. In my humble view, they set the standard for care excellence to be followed. Very best wishes.
The Curant Care team has helped support my son for over a year now and I am thoroughly impressed with their dedication, reliability and professionalism. My son has consistent and caring staff and has built excellent friendships and rapport with them. The staff manager has taken ample measures to train staff on my son's condition which is extremely helpful. The Curant Care team are fantastic with good work ethics. My husband and I are grateful for their support of our son and highly commend them.
