View Full Details of Tapvim Care Services LtdWe as family are very grateful and happy with the care Mum is receiving. All of the carers have been very respectful ad are a massive help towards Mum's recovery. I would like to say a big thank you to all the care team and to let them know we appreciate all their hard work.
The staff are all very good in their own way. Some are better than others.
Very pleased with the care package, they go above and beyond to help!! If there is an issue mum always lets them know, so yeah, very pleased.
We are very pleased with Tapvin Services, the staff are very friendly, and would like to mention one carer in particular, she is very good, and all staff are helpful and nice.
For myself, a willingness to chat a little if there is time, is almost as important as carrying out the chores I cannot do. Most are willing, if time allows, but not so much everyone.
The reason I've given 1 is because one carer was absolutely lovely and really cared for my mum. We've had a catalogue of errors from this company, from not locking mum's front door at night, to giving her a second dose of medication because they hadn't checked the comms board, set up for their use. As if that wasn't bad enough the carers regular didn't work hours they were being paid for - on one occasion they stayed for 3 minutes of a half hour visit, which suggests to me that they had too many visits booked in their day & they had to play catch up when they could. Nonetheless mum was paying for her care and wasn't getting what she was paying for. They were always polite and pleasant to talk to but instead of engaging with mum on their visits some were more interested in their mobile phones. I appreciate they had to update mum's records on their phones but this wasn't just a case of them doing that. It is with regret that I'm writing this but their care standards weren't acceptable
All the staff I have had visit me have been very helpful and caring. They are all very good at their jobs and carry out a very professional job.
Carers always cheerful, polite and caring to all the family - became friends.
From day #one the care teams have been excellent, all working to the care plan and exceeding expectations. On the odd occasions when they were running late a telephone call told us of their problem and a time of expected arrival was given and kept. I am unable to comment about the management or value for money having no/little knowledge on those subjects.
All carers that have been to treat myself have been excellent all the time. Nothing is no trouble.
Most of staff excellent, one not so good, he is a bit lazy, lets others do work. Overall very good. Habit of leaving lights on.
I not very happy with service my sister gets. I carers are nice enough but there is a communication barrier. Hygien of equipment isn't that great. Washing up with cold water! Everything is very rushed. My sister can't feed herself and feels they rush her most the time. They have no idea about English meals, they have no training in simple meals like scrambled egg or omelette. Even making a sandwich can become a difficult task it seems. Some say they can do certain things because they have had a baby at some point in there lives. I'm sure the job centre wouldn't except that from anyone!
Overall very pleased with the service. Sometimes carer arrives later than I would like in the morning.
Friendly carers, always polite and have time to ask how we all are. Good service from them, only negative is they are finishing sometimes earlier than their time, sometimes 10-15 minutes earlier, other than that we are happy.
I do find the carers friendly and very kind to my mum. My mum was reluctant to accept care initially but the team have made her feel more accepting. I like the fact she has a core team and doesn't have lots of different faces. The communication between us all is good. My only suggestion is that they wear their name badges as Mum can't remember their names.
Very happy with the service. The carers are always very professional, happy, cheerful and polite. A very friendly team providing on excellent service. I feel completely safe in their care and trust them with all the help they give me.
The carers from Tapvim have been looking after my mum since she came out of hospital earlier this year. Initially I was very worried Mum would not accept help and someone going into her home but needn't have worried she has absolutely loved their help, chats and laughs together. Also I haven't had to worry that Mum is safe, eating, taking her meds or just not lonely. That's all been made possible with the carers' positive attitude, caring and good communication. Even though I live 4 hours from Mum I've been able to relax knowing she's in good hands and I've always been kept informed if anything was needed. A massive thank you to a great team for everything you've done and all the best in the future on behalf of both me and my mum and the cat of course. Kind regards.
We used Tapvim Care Services when my Dad came home after breaking his hip. The care staff were lovely, and very respectful towards my Dad and the rest of the family. They'd often check on my mum who has dementia, which I found very kind. The company worked with us to find a schedule that worked for all of us and I felt I could call and discuss any issues and that I was listened to. The only reason we stopped using Tapvim is that my Dad had to go into a care home as his needs were more than we could handle, but Tapvim totally understood and we would not have got through this period without them.
The staff that we had interaction with has been friendly, helpful and patient with my dad and his needs.
I find the care staff are very friendly and helpful towards my father-in-law and always make him feel comfortable. I would like to point out that I would like to have a fortnightly schedule of estimated visiting times of the carers to plan every meal around and also I never had any care information provided that we are entitled to.
