My experience with Real Care is that most of the carers are very experienced and show respect to my partner. They go over and above with relation to the care they provide him. I am not happy with the service that some of the office staff provide. I contacted the office in October 2025 to request
additional care visits in January 2026 as I am gping on holiday. I spoke with the manager who said that wouldn't be a problem. I asked that they have this arranged in advance as I needed to know this was in place and could they let me know by mid November. I called for an update end of November , was told that they will ask for volunteers, this obviously hadn't been done. I asked them to let me know how they get on. 2 weeks later I called again as I hadn't heard from them. They couldn't get cover for 2 of the 3 overnight visits. I asked why they hadn't told me this but didnt get an informed answer. In the end they could not provide any care at all! The lack of communication was unprofessional

I am happy so far with the care and attention that has been given to my mum. I particularly like that there is good communication between the agency and myself. My mum though reluctant at the beginning is now happier that chores like ironing are being undertaken. She would prefer that the the care
giver was the same person each week so that she could build up a greater understanding.

I am happy with the care provided by Realcare.
All carers have a great disposition with my mum, who can sometimes be difficult
I have never had to raise any issues or make any complaints about my mum's care
Every carer has been tactful and kind.

Fantastic service from Real Care from the central office to the Care Assistants on the ground. They are responsive and act quickly if there are any issues. My sister enjoys their visits and trusts the supportive friendly carers (as do I).

The care that my mum receives from The Real Care Agency is second to none. The staff who go into her home on a daily basis are friendly, kind, caring and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure her needs are fully met in a supportive and respectful manner.
Her care plan was recently
completed by a member of staff from the central team. There were many questions which ensured a comprehensive and detailed plan has been put in place. This plan will be reviewed again in 6 months. The staff member completing the plan was very knowledgeable and asked questions in a sensitive and respectful manner.
Just recently the company have moved to electronic recording of the care visits and an App has been introduced. This has been invaluable in enabling me to see who is visiting mum and being able to communicate easily if required.
If you are considering using The Real Care Company I would not hesitate to recommend their services.
