View Full Details of London Care (South London)Absolutely terrible company avoid at all costs. There gave been so many issues with the scheduling of visits to medication not being given properly to how the house has been left. The issues when raised are never addressed and just seems like they are on repeat. Do not consider them for care as you will regret it
I and my family have no complaints about the carers, the complaint is about the office staff. They do not send out rotas until halfway through the week, do not pass on messages, do not answer the phone over the weekend, and blame their staff when things go wrong, although it is not the staff's fault. The carers themselves cannot be faulted. They are being let down by very poor management. They tried to stop my mother from coming downstairs on a stairlift by saying one of the carers had hurt her back trying to move my mother. All the carers deny this, which caused my mother stress. This could be a good company if it had an office manager who knew what they were doing, not let the staff do what they want to do. Management skills very are poor.
Carers are lovely and I cannot fault them at all; they are really nice caring people. The office admin staff are an absolute nightmare. They don’t answer the phone and think it is okay for an 86 year old late-stage dementia sufferer and her 84-year-old husband to be let down constantly by their lack of staff. When a client/care user needs 2 carers it is for a valid reason so to keep sending 1 carer who tries their best is an absolute shambles. It happens far to often to be a mistake. If they cannot provide the level of care needed to admit it, don’t just hope for the best. You are paid to provide the care. I feel for the carers who really do try their best!
