View Full Details of Meritum Integrated Care LLP (Maidstone)We are over the moon with all of your ladies, they have all been within the time limit, always do their best to make sure my mother-in-law has everything she needs and wants drinks and food. We cannot praise your company enough thank you so much each and every one of you.
I have found Meritum to be a reliable and friendly service. Having been the care company for my parents since Mum's need for care first started in 2016. The office staff are always extremely helpful and efficient - resolving any issues and always accommodating any requests when a last-minute problem has come up. e.g. extra carers needed when I had covid, and also when Dad came out of the hospital. The out-of-hours service is excellent - e.g. being able to text and ask the evening carer to check the phone at my parents has been invaluable. Mum and Dad have been very pleased with the carers that attend to their needs. They have been friendly, efficient and caring and have built relationships of trust with carers that they have had for years. Thank you Meritum for all your hard work.
Our regular carers know my husband very well. He has complex health issues. The carers are fully aware of his illness and always alert me to any symptoms that could suggest he is unwell and have supported me when he has become unwell. They address his needs on the day to how my husband is in himself - more support with cushions if needed, making sure he has his sensory items in his hands, changing his T-shirt if he is hot due to cushions surrounding him for support. The carers carry out all his personal needs and ensure his pressure points are applied with barrier cream. He is peg-fed and the senior carers administer his nutrition and medication through the peg. They also check the integrity of the peg site and help maintain the site by advancing and twisting the peg twice a week, notifying me of any swelling, redness or concerns. My husband is nonverbal but the carers always talk to him and encourage a response from him which he does occasionally with the odd word, smiles & facial expressions.
Good time keeping in the mornings and evenings some new staff need a bit more training as things get forgotten. But otherwise, ok. It seems that all the original staff are gone and replaced with new ones which is a shame as the older ones knew what to do.
