View Full Details of St George's Home CareOverall, the care company is very good. Sometimes I would like different times during the day but because of finances, this is not always available. It is all about money and time in the end. Overall, a very good care company.
We are very pleased with the help we get without exception the helpers are friendly and have to make sure everything is done as needed, as asked, and interest is kept on our health. We regard them all as good friends.
Excellent help. Carers are kind, treat my husband with dignity, help when needed, encourage him to help himself, and have a laugh and joke together. I couldn't ask for better help.
A very reliable and pleasant carer arrives to care for my wife for 4 hours to allow me to go out. She had a stroke so needs help. Reliable of time and very supportive of my wife and helps her with personal care and meals.
Very good service, nothing is too much trouble. Always interested in what's going on in our lives, good or bad. Always ready to listen. Very reassuring.
Excellent care. Very understanding. Very pleasant and willing carers.
My mum returned home from respite care in a care home following a bad fall. St George's Home Care is supporting her to remain in her own home with as much independence as possible. The care she is receiving is nothing short of amazing. The carers are kind, patient, very well-trained and respectful. The whole operation is professional, open and transparent. Everyone concerned is approachable and competent and my mum so looks forward to their visits. She seems more relaxed, happy and content with life now, they have also brought some fun into her life! I would recommend St George's to anyone.
We have used St George's for approximately four years. We are very satisfied with the service. The management are very helpful and any problems and queries are dealt with promptly. All staff are friendly and kind.
We began using St George's Home Care on weekday mornings a year ago and have been very pleased to have had their support. The carers who visit us are all friendly without being intrusive, understanding, careful and very competent. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are unfailingly cheerful, even on cold and dark winter days when the rain was pouring down and the roads were flooded and driving to us was difficult. To anyone considering home care we would say 'look no further than St George's'.
I am very satisfied with the care that St George's provides. The staff are friendly and helpful. They treat me with great respect.
We have used St Geroge's Home Care for two and a half years. We have been very satisfied with all aspects - the care staff are excellent and friendly. Any queries or problems are dealt with promptly - we would recommend them to anyone searching for care.
Carers are well-presented, polite and most helpful. Makes good company
I have a carer for an hour, 8-9 am, seven days a week, and also for 30 minutes in the evening to be helped to bed. Ideally, that would be later, but I recognise the rota problems and that the long day shift ends at 9 pm. All the many carers I have had have been efficient and pleasant. Obviously, one relates better to some people, but I do not object to anyone. They are well trained by St George's.
Were my husband's carers until January 2023, when my husband went into the hospital with pneumonia and is still in the hospital. The carers were excellent for him and became our friends very quickly, and he loved them. Unfortunately, my husband needs 24-hour care now, so will be transferred to a permanent care home upon discharge from the hospital.
Had no complaints from the beginning to update. Really nice all of them are. They are willing to do things you ask for and it's never been a problem. Being a carer is not always as easy as it looks. Well done to you all.

Good experince. Very kind and helpful carers. Nothing is too much trouble for them to do to help. In my opinion, very underpaid.
Mum's carer has been excellent in her care of my mother and goes above her job to do things for her. She always keeps her dignity, and Mum looks forward to her visits. She gives me peace of mind that she is in great hands.
St George's Home Care has been very diligent and caring when dealing with my mother. If needs be, they call me whilst visiting to inform me of things which need action - low medicines or power cuts. During the recent storms, one even nipped back home to fill flasks with hot water so that Mum could have a hot drink. The staff visit regularly, but also different ones have a day so that chat and faces vary. The regular ones are used to the client's ways and manage to sneak in all she needs when all she wants to do is chat. I'm too far away to be able to just pop round and sort things, but I have peace of mind knowing that St George's are going in daily.
