I am delighted with everyone from Home Instead, and so is Dad. We thank everyone for their help and kindness.

The most important is the continuity of the same 3 carers each morning as they pick up any small changes in health issues that would be missed by one off carer. We have a lovely team who are very understanding of the whole situation and respond to changes and use initiative as to wash or shower.

Staff are always pleasant & cheerful. Willing to help with anything. Always phone to let us know if there are delays with the carer arriving. Would recommend Home Instead without hesitation.

I have always been treated with respect and dignity. Among the carers I have more one to one with one in particular carer. She is kind, caring & supportive. I enjoy the time we spend together. I hope that the regular contact will continue. Any problems, she is very quick to report asap.

All the carers that visit mum are lovely. She looks forward to their visits very much as they brighten up her day. They are reliable and recently quickly responded to her increased needs following a fall.

We contacted Home Instead for the care of my wife because they looked after my sister-in-law. The good reports we received about them from her family turned out to be absolutely correct. The care consultant and field care supervisor came out to see us initially, and my daughter and I were very impressed by their presentation. We signed up on the spot, but unhappily instead of the year of care I was expecting, it turned out to be only three weeks. During that three weeks we met a few of their lovely team of carers. They were all so friendly, professional and efficient. I didn't want my wife to go into a care home to be looked after by other people, so this was the perfect solution. I would highly recommend this company if you are in the same situation.

Excellent service was put into place at short notice with care for not only Mum but to support Dad after his surgery. Loved the portal that was informative and gave peace of mind to the care received. When I needed to contact the head office for assistance, the queries were dealt with quickly.

The support and peace of mind we have received from Home Instead (Harrogate Ripon & Thirsk) has been excellent. They have really gone above and beyond what we ever imagined a care company could achieve. They think about the individual and work in a diligent and professional manner, but without losing the human touch side of care. Home Instead were recommended to us and we would have no hesitation in passing this recommendation on to anyone looking for a care at home option.

Home Instead (Harrogate Ripon & Thirsk) input has enabled my Mum to stay safely home which is where she wants to be. Sharing the care with their team has meant I can spend so much more time just being with my Mum. They even manage around the bad tempered cat. Carers are kind and adaptable and I believe Mum has benefited from seeing different faces and having different people to talk to. We have been using Home Instead’s services for a number of years now and they have provided increasing help as Mum’s needs have increased. Additionally, when health issues within my own household have arisen they have always managed to provide extra cover to fill the gaps that would otherwise have been left in Mum’s care.

Our helpers provide excellent support and are passionate about their work. They treat my parent with respect and dignity. They all go above and beyond what is asked of them. The management of our needs is good and responses are prompt.

All the staff at Home Instead are most friendly, helpful and conscientious. It is very reassuring to know that they are looking after my relative with care and compassion. If there are any problems they get in touch and I feel we all work well together. My brother-in-law enjoys the visits and the company/help that they provide. It’s a massive help to our family to know he’s well-supported.

Saw Home Instead carers working with residents at a care home and was impressed. When my husband and myself needed help we contacted them and are extremely pleased with the service and help they have given. Nothing is too much trouble for carers and office-based staff. A real load has been taken off me and I now wonder how I managed without them.

I have been a client of Home Instead since mid-September 2022. Staff I have met have all been without exception both punctual and efficient, but more importantly friendly and reassuring. Any assistance I have requested with normal household tasks has always been readily given. Likewise, if an opportunity has arisen to walk in an adjacent park I have always felt in safe hands. On the very rare occasion I have needed to modify the time of a visit this has always been arranged willingly. My sincerest thanks to all involved.

Our overall experience with Home Instead has been very good. The office staff have always been kind and curteous and very understanding with any issues. The carers have all been very professional and understanding of Mum's needs and have helped her immensely.
