View Full Details of Home Instead Liverpool Central & NorthWe have been a client of home instead for approx 18 months, as they support my 92 year old father twice a week with personal care . After a fall which caused my mum to break a shoulder on one arm and a wrist on the other I contact home instead to ask about temporary support for her too. I was immediately reassured that they could offer what I required and within an hour a supervisor visited my parents home to discuss our requirements . They where able to schedule care from the next morning and more importantly where able to send to us carers who support my dad and who where familiar with my parents home and my mum. The carers are consistently a pleasure to have in the home and home instead has enabled my mum and dad to stay in there home in there 90s even during critical times such as this recent fall .
My Mum was being cared for by our family, we found this too much and her not getting the right help so we approached Home instead who were very helpful I. Selecting the correct care for her, as her need increased so did the help from the office, each time we contacted the office with a question or concern we were always helped in a professional, caring manor.
Yet again Home Instead have Come to my rescue at short notice after I had a fall and needed help.( They have been coming for at least 7 years to help with my husband ). Without fail they are helpful willing and professional and with a sense of humour. Their custom of coming on person to introduce a new carer is thoughtful. They are without question superb.
Mum has had care for three years before recently having to move into residential care. During those three years, the care provided has enabled her to remain independent in her own home. She started with one care giver at lunchtime to prepare meals and carry out general household duties, later employing a second carer to assist her in the mornings to get out of bed, dressed and washed, making breakfast, and in the recent months, a third carer to assist her in the evenings with supper and preparing for bed. Throughout this time the carers have always shown respect and empathy, together with friendship and companionship.
Mum had excellent care from her carers over many year. Checking Mum was clean and tidy. Administering medication when needed helping her with her stoma, also cleaning her surroundings, kitchen, bathroom living room. The carers also changed her bedding and done any ironing.
From start to now every contact we have had with the staff from Home Instead has been excellent! We appreciated the questions to find out the exact care needed, also timings given the week before + care giver named. Each visit has helped not only giving care but a relationship built with the same people arriving. Contact with office staff has always been positive and friendly as a family we are happy that mum (and dad) are care for in a professional way.
My daughter does most dealings with the office. She always finds staff very helpful and polite and should there be a problem she sorts it out with your staff. At 93 years of age I find it quite hard to admit I need help. Now I realise I cannot manage alone and have gathered some friends on the way.
I'm very happy with the service I receive. The staff do a brilliant job from the office. The carers are all great. I'm very happy.
The overall experience has been of a high standard. Any slight problems were sorted out quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend Home Instead.
I have been receiving care from Home Instead for a number of years and I have been very satisfied with the care I have received. I have two visits a day, providing personal care and preparation of meals and my caregivers have always been efficient and very kind. The company has tried to accommodate my need for a regular team of carers and for regular time slots. When necessary, the management has updated my care package to ensure that my needs are catered for and that I always feel safe and secure. I would be happy to recommend the company to others in need of home care.
Home Instead have been coming to Mum for over two years now. She is well supported by all the care givers. They are all very caring and friendly.
Thank you to all the ladies who care for my mum. She looks forward to your visits and enjoys chats and walks. Thank you for all you do.
I am very happy with the service that Home Instead provides for my mother. The communication is very good with early notifications of any changes within the schedule of care providers. Emails are answered promptly.
My mother has lived with dementia for the past two years and throughout that time has been supported by Home Instead. I chose Home Instead because of their reputation and I have not been disappointed. The small team of regular caregivers were able to get to know Mum and to support her while still giving her as much freedom as possible and her primary caregiver consistently went the extra mile, bringing her treats and on one occasion even buying and setting up a small Christmas tree for her. Definitely above and beyond the call of duty and an indication of the kindness and quality of the staff, who became friends rather than just carers. For me, living some way away, another advantage was that I was always kept informed of any issues that arose, so they could be dealt with promptly. The team were also very open to feedback and to making enhancements to the routines that were in place, all with the goal of making Mum's time at home as fulfilled and dignified as possible.
I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful team of caregivers at Home Instead in Crosby. I shall always be indebted to them because not only did they make it possible for my Mum to live independently in her own home but they also extended that care to the whole family. Mum felt safe and I felt safe knowing that Mum’s care team were 100% committed to giving her the very best care possible. They were always ready to go the extra mile and often brought Mum little 'extras' just when she needed a boost – a bunch of flowers, some yummy cake to share, a puzzle book to do together. The 'girls' as Mum called them were professional, reliable and genuinely caring. It’s no wonder Mum usually referred to them not just as her carers but also as her friends.
The manager I met with was very professional, caring and helpful, trying to coax my Mum into letting the carers do certain things for her. My mother has Alzheimer's and isn't very amenable to having others help her. The carers are always very patient with her and over the last 2 1/2 years I have been extremely happy with their care.
We have used Home Instead for several years and are very pleased with the service we have received.
Our family feel fortunate indeed to have found a caring agency which puts excellence and compassionate care at the heart of its care principles. My 96 year old mother receives daily care - both personal and companionship - from an outstanding small team of carers. They treat Mum with the utmost care and attention and with dignity at all times. At times Mum feels upset that she cannot do things for herself any more - all her carers do not dismiss her frustrations, but 'jolly her along' instead. The admin and office staff always communicate any concerns and deal with finances efficiently and effortlessly.
The caregivers from Home Instead provided great support in looking after my mum who has dementia. Knowing I lived at a distance both the office staff and caregivers were responsive to my mum's needs both physical and emotional. The team communicated well and my mum looked forward to their visits. She was always treated with great respect.
My Father had 3 different carers provided by Home Instead (Liverpool). All 3 were kind, considerate and treated my Father with respect and dignity. They built up a relationship with my Father over 6 months and got to know his interest, likes and dislikes with regard to his meal preferences. I would definitely recommend this company. For us, it was, not only the high standard of care offered but the fact that the caregivers were consistent and spent an hour as opposed to 15 minutes offered by another provider.
