View Full Details of SureCare (Reading & East Berkshire)Reliable & good carers who treat my brother with respect.
Was referred to SureCare by the local adult social care system. This is the first time that I have had any carers, so I do not have a real basis for comparison, but, my experience with all the carers from this service has been very positive. They have been aiding me with upkeep of the house and with my mental health difficulties, in particular, the social anxiety part of my mental health issues, by providing a couple of hours of company. They also aid me with my attempts to get out of my house by going on walks with me. The carers that I have had have all been very friendly and eager to help. They seem to be genuinely passionate about helping their clients and very understanding of the limitations of their clients with regards to mobility and mental health stability which has helped me to feel more comfortable explaining what issues that I have and what help I need.
The carers are always pleasant & understanding at times their time-keeping is a little chaotic.
I am very happy with the service I am getting.
I'm very happy with all my carers.
Overall the care from the carers is good but there are big issues when the carers arrive -times when the carers arrive especially in the mornings.
Very happy with carers, they make a great deal of difference to me, one is very good and I see her a lot. All lovely ladies, cannot fault any of them.
We have used Surecare previously for my father and found them to be extremely good, so didn't hesitate to use them again for my mum. They are professional, understanding and reliable, but most important of all, all of the carers and administrators are so kind and friendly that they almost feel like an extension of family. I live some distance away and this allows me to be fully reassured that they truly care about my mum and will not only contact me if there are any concerns, but will try and help me to sort these out too. A huge gold star from my family on all levels!
Our usual carers are brilliant in the way in which they do their job. We have experienced on an odd occasion where one is usually quiet.
My mother was treated with respect and great care; she was listened to and was advised on the approximate time the carers would be with her the next day, and the list goes on. My mother was provided with a regular caregiver who she got along with very well, and this put a smile on my mother's face whenever she attended. Throughout the service provided, I had no concerns or problems and would recommend SureCare (Reading) to look after loved ones with dignity and respect.
My husband has been cared for by SureCare Reading for the last three years, and they have been extremely professional and flexible when needed. The communication has always been great; from the office team, and I was always kept up to date with any changes in care or staff. I am lucky to have SureCare caring for my husband, and I appreciate all the carers and the office do for me and my husband.
Very helpful and caring staff that go above and beyond and treated Mum with kindness and dignity. A reliable and thorough service that never felt rushed. Very supportive carers and office staff who are easy to get hold of if you need them.
At the moment I have wonderful carers, they are patient, encouraging, caring, talkative, just lovely people. When they are off for a few days I get two carers who don't treat their job as a caring profession. I have had to tell them to speak to my husband as he sees no one during most days, except me. When walking him to the bedroom, they hurry him along, even though they have plenty of time. I had to tell another carer when my husband asks him a question, they should answer. No 1, they should be told to talk to their clients even they don't answer. No 2, be patient, they have plenty of time. No 3, explain this is not a free service. We have to pay quite a lot towards it. No 4, without the clients, they would be out of a job.
Mum is always treated with respect and made to feel at ease by the carers. Very friendly and in a personal situation have helped ease the stressful burden I had previously been enduring.
I would certainly recommend this care provider to anyone. They are very patient, caring and always provide a consistent standard of care. In fact, they are the first care provider that doesn't rush to go back through the front door as soon as they arrive. I have nothing but positive feedback on the level of care provided to me so far.
Several months of care from SureCare now, and the manager and his team have really helped my Mum to stay safely at home with the support she needs. I am impressed that they can take charge of medication, assist with household tasks, take my Mum shopping, to her GP, and to her great enjoyment, take my aunt for walks around the area. As well as the regular support, and creating a very good relationship with my Mum, SureCare has responded to urgent situations well, in one case with the manager finding extra support when it was needed at short notice overnight and at the weekend. Thank you.
Enjoy the carers attending visits. One carer, in particular, is intelligent and talks a lot to my husband during the call. Good bedside manner.
Surecare Reading have been looking after my mother for over 2 months, I have always experienced very good service. The careworkers that attend to my mother are always so kind and helpful and try and make caring for my mother as easy as possible for me.
