Over the last two years, Mum and I have had help from a lot of different carers. They come in for an hour each morning to help with cleaning the kitchen, dusting, hoovering, etc.

I like having different carers to see me and value their help with things I find difficult. However, I do feel that writing up notes should not be done in client's time. This can take up to 15 mins.

Home Instead seems to match clients with carers because I have enjoyed having all my carers to help me. They are very understanding, and as I talk a lot about getting better, they have allowed me to gradually do more for myself under their supervision. Although I have a long way to go, I can do far more than I could - walk further, make a drink, cook using the microwave (and main cooker in the last month), and generally help me to do what I am capable of. They don't keep me back - they help me. I appreciate this encouragement a lot.

We are very pleased with the service provided by Home Instead. The ladies who come to care for my wife are all very friendly, helpful and understanding. So far, they have carried out efficiently any task that has been required or requested. We would recommend Home Instead to anyone needing home care.

I have had support from Home Instead for several years now, including a period with an injured toe. I have been satisfied with the care I have received and it has enabled me to stay home-based, which is important to me. I also appreciate the social side of visits as I am fairly home-bound.

Mum really enjoys her Home Instead visits, and the excellent reliability of the service is a great help and comfort to my sister and me.

Absolute excellent 5 star service, friendly, kind and always with a smile. My mum was a little nervous before we engaged Home Instead, but they have proved to be outstanding and Mum looks forward to their visits, as they have time to have a chat as well as showering/washing Mum. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting some extra help for their loved ones.

We have been really impressed by my brother's support from his carers. He tells us they are friendly and very helpful, and I am confident they will call me as my brother's next of kin if needed.

I find the service provided by the care professionals to be excellent. They turn up on time and are kind, supportive and friendly. I also find the office staff supportive and are helpful, and react to any requests positively.

The service provided to assist my husband to get up, washed and dressed in the mornings is invaluable. The social contact with your very pleasant staff is also very valuable as he doesn't go out very often.

I look forward to my Wednesdays 2 hours having a lovely long soak in the bath. I am treated with dignity and respect and feel so comfortable with my lovely ladies. Usually we find something to laugh about and are always keen to help me if I have a problem. I do recommend Home Instead as in no way can I fault and I know if I did have a complaint it would be quickly dealt with. So a big thank you from me.

The review went smoothly and things were explained to mum and I very clearly. We discussed mum's care plan and updated content. I was given advice on further assistance for mum, alert pendants etc.

I am quite happy with the services! Sent 2 hours a week, the ladies who come are very kind, happy to do chores and any task they do. I do not need anything extra in regard to the service.
