Wendy and the Team at Catto have been caring for my mother since 2022. They provide an excellent care service and are always ready for the challenge when it occurs! (mum can sometimes be difficult). Most recently we have had to increase the number of care visits following a longer than expected
hospital stay. Catto were on hand to manage the handover and are continuing to implement the level of care required by the hospital discharge team. As an addition to the support that the rest of the family provide, Catto is a perfect fit to ensure that mum is kept safe and well looked after in her own home.

Mum was admitted to hospital over Christmas and it became clear that we needed help. Not being local I didn't know much about care provision locally so I set about asking Mums friends at church. The resounding recommendation was for Catto.
When read the CQC report I was initially concerned but as
a retired healthcare professional I knew how to read between the lines. Personal recommendations matter. So, when I spoke to Wendy we discussed the report and everything I suspected was confirmed and we engaged Catto to help us with mums care.
Catto and their staff have been excellent. The only reason we have stopped is that mum is now independent again. It's taken 3 months to get her back to independence and that is in no small part to the excellent support we have had from a number of services, including Catto.
When we need help again we won't need to worry, we will go straight to Catto.

This agency came highly recommended by a friend who had used them for her own mother. They were very good at pinpointing the issues with my mother in law, helped her organise medication and food and shopped with her, helped her wash and changes sheets etc. All the things that she struggled with were
accomplished in a sensitive way and she did look forward to the visits. Communication was aways faultless and often as plans changed they were able to accommodate at other times and days.
I would definitely recommend them as a personal service with staff who are professional but also caring.

Having recommended catto home care to friends, the care they gave to my friend was excellent, they really understand what care means and went far beyond what was required. The change in my friends wellbeing, both physical and emotional was amazing, which relieved pressure on her husband.

Catto Homecare continue to provide the most excellent care I could possibly hope for for my uncle. On a practical level they are absolutely fantastic and on the caring side they have always and continue to go above and beyond. As a family we don't live nearby so knowing my uncle is getting such
wonderful care gives us huge peace of mind.

Catto Homecare have provided twice daily visits to my neighbour/friend for over 18 months. The staff are all friendly, reliable & give professional care to my friend who is in her 90's & is fiercely independent. In addition to complex physical health needs my friend suffers from anxiety & is
extremely sensitive & has memory problems. All staff work around this with patience & kindness to respect her wishes, enable independence & provide valuable reassurance. They also Administer & monitor twice daily medication & ensure it is ordered. Staff provide transport to Health Appointments, & liaise with GP, Pharmacy, Eye Clinics & home eye test provider. Staff intervened & prevented a Scam telephone call Safeguarding my neighbour. Liaison is excellent, Care Team, Wendy & Office staff friendly & helpful & mindful & respectful of privacy & dignity. Great job all, thank you.

Catto are in my view, one of the, if not the best care company in this area.
We had them help with my stepfathers care for a couple of years before he passed, he'd had Alzheimer's. All the girls were absolutely amazing with him.
Now we have them again, this time for my mum, a wheelchair user
following an amputation. At 84 mums getting a bit forgetful and struggles with daily tasks but Catto are there whenever we need them to make life a little easier.
They're great with the big things but also very caring with the small things too.
All the ladies are so sweet and understanding with mum and as we don't have a regular timetable, they're always so helpful to fit them in as and when we need them.
Personally, we couldn't cope without Catto.
Can't recommend them highly enough.

Catto Homecare have been caring for my mother for the last 7 months, visiting for an hour each lunchtime, & enabling her to stay in her own home, which is very important to her.
Mum was reluctant to accept help initially, but the manager was very respectful & sensitive to her needs. Initial
care went at Mum's own pace, so that she was reassured, and quickly settled in to the new routine.
Now Mum looks forward to her visits, the conversations & company, and the tasty and varied lunches, which are attractively presented. Because it is a small team that looks after her, they now know her well.
All the team are very professional, efficient, kind and caring -they keep me informed of any concerns or changes, which I find very reassuring, particularly as I live over an hour away.

Our experience with Catto Homecare has been nothing short of excellent. The manager and staff have been extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. They have consistently provided appropriate and thoughtful care to my mum even when things have become complicated. They have gone 'over and
above' when communicating with the GP, the pharmacy and other health care agencies and the family to provide joined up and compassionate care. I could not recommend their service highly enough.

Catto Home Care have provided an excellent service for my mum over the last 2 years. Mum's needs in the beginning were quite challenging due to her medical condition. Catto management and staff are extremely professional and competent, with high level of attention to detail, giving her regular time
slots and more importantly providing a small team of carers who know mum well. Infections, dehyration or extreme tirdness have been noticed quickly several occasions, they have collected the antibiotics and prevented full blown infections, which can cause bigger issues if not dealt with promptly.
Catto are very easy to deal with and will always discuss any changing needs mum may have, putting in place any suggestions we have and giving their advice to make things better.
As I live overseas it is great to have a company I can rely on to keep me informed.
I am so pleased we found them, they visit twice a day and keep mum independent in her own home.

Catto Homecare enable my father to remain in his own home with safety and comfort. Catto are highly organised and send an appointment rota in advance with visit times which they keep to. Reliability and punctuality of the carers is hallmark of the organisation. All carers operate in a professional
manner, are fully aware of my father's needs and regularly report back to the office on his situation and any changes. They are also kind and considerate and are ready to do whatever is necessary during their visit. My father and I are very pleased to use their services.

I have a carer for an hour and 10 minutes every morning. They help me get showered and dressed, they tidy my bedroom and kitchen. Without their help I would not be able to live on my own. I am not stable enough to shower without without help.They set me up for the day.

The manager and her team provide home care for my husband who is a stroke survivor.
From the manager's first visit to meet us and assess my husband's needs, I felt very confident in the service Catto offer. The manager has years of experience and offers advice, whenever she can.
Carers visit one
day a week which gives me a much needed break from being my husband's full time carer. They are friendly, always punctual, caring and reliable and go beyond their carer duties to help me too.
Being a small team it has been easy for us to build a relationship with each of the carers and they have got to know my husband's routine very quickly, which makes life easier for both of us.
I would recommend the manager and her team of carers without hesitation.

It is well over 12 months since we engaged Catto Homecare to look after mum on a daily basis. Mum has been getting steadily more frail and living overseas I am not able to be there for her and this is the next best thing. It is so reassuring to be able to rely on such a professional and friendly
team who take mum out every day and keep an eye on her. Mum loves seeing the ladies, who are always cheerful and helpful, its the highlight of her day. The manager is always quick to respond to any request and also updates me on mums health if there is a change and makes useful suggestions. They take mum out to do her shopping, go to her GP, hair appointments, or for a coffee and also do chores around the house, making mum's bed and making sure she has her next meal ready. I highly recommend them to anybody who has somebody that needs caring for.

I am totally satisfied with the service, they are always there when needed & are kind caring & always cheerful. I could not ask for more. In the last month I have had quite a few medical appointments & my carer gets me there on time makes sure I am safe at all times, offers help when I am
struggling eg undressing & dressing & always I taken indoors safely & if time she will make me a cup of tea.

Catto have been caring for my mother for a number of years, and in my family's view, they are first-class. Care was a new experience for all of us and they gently and professionally slid into place, encouraging, soothing, finding practical solutions, liaising, advising, and much, much more.
Today they are like trusted friends, or extended family, understanding, supporting, keeping us well informed about her health, her state of mind, general matters that need input from us. We do not live near our mother, and we put our trust 100% in Catto. The Catto management and team are supremely discreet and professional. We simply could not wish for better. Our mother enjoys their visits and we believe she thrives because of Catto.

Catto Home Care have offered my husband the most excellent care. He would receive a visit twice daily and at every visit not only would the carers be extremely professional but also happy, cheerful, very prompt, and efficient.

It is over three and a half years ago since I put the call into Catto's office, looking for more details as we searched for care for my elderly Father in Law who suffers with Alzheimer's.
Any anxieties about letting people into his home quickly dissipated. The manager and her team were helpful,
observant and caring, whilst also passing on feedback and recommendations. Be it simple things, like letting us know we were low on cat food (He is feeding them too much again - maybe we should organise it into containers so he knows how much to give them each morning and evening!) or liaising with the GP, District Nurses or Hospital.
I am not sure how we would have coped with some of the challenges that arose along the way without their support and the manager's pragmatic advice.
We are enormously grateful for the care provided and have no hesitation in recommending them.

The manager and her team at Catto Homecare have been fabulous from the day they took over looking after my elderly father. He has always been very challenging with various health issues, but the care team have been able to look after him so well. They are all very professional and caring with him,
they are always on time and have a lovely relationship with him. Catto has certainly taken the pressure off us as a family and are always in contact if there is ever a problem with my Dad. I cannot praise them all enough.

Catto Homecare were recommended to me by a friend when my mother needed help at home.
From the beginning it was clear that the manager and all the staff were extremely professional and caring, giving us confidence from the start. The manager spent time with my Mother to get an understanding of her
needs, food preferences, likes and dislikes etc. which was relayed to the team. We were provided with a weekly update of who would be attending along with photographs of everyone. I would have no hesitation in recommending them, they really did go above and beyond in the care of Mum
