Catto Homecare offers privately funded personal care, support services and companionship to adults and older people with MS, various types of dementia, arthritis, osteoporosis, stroke / TIA's, amputations, COPD, Parkinson's, renal failure, cellulitis, long-term COVID, cancer and of course broken bones among other conditions. Most referrals are generated by word of mouth.

Catto Homecare also offers live in care and this can extend to 24 hour care if needed, for example at end of life or for a rehabilitation period from a fracture.

Staff are trained to provide a high quality of care and attention to detail. Carers are all able to provide lymphatic drainage on legs for those with Lymphedema.

Companionship or going for a walk in wheelchairs as well as taking clients to regular appointments is a growing area of the business and sometimes attending hospital appointments is needed if family are unable to attend.

Catto Homecare also offers a check in service e.g., not being time specific but a call in the afternoon to check on the person and ensure all is well.

Catto Home Care have provided an excellent service for my mum over the last 2 years. Mum's needs in the beginning were quite challenging due to her medical condition. Catto management and staff are extremely professional and competent, with high level of attention to detail, giving her regular time
slots and more importantly providing a small team of carers who know mum well. Infections, dehyration or extreme tirdness have been noticed quickly several occasions, they have collected the antibiotics and prevented full blown infections, which can cause bigger issues if not dealt with promptly.
Catto are very easy to deal with and will always discuss any changing needs mum may have, putting in place any suggestions we have and giving their advice to make things better.
As I live overseas it is great to have a company I can rely on to keep me informed.
I am so pleased we found them, they visit twice a day and keep mum independent in her own home.

Catto Homecare enable my father to remain in his own home with safety and comfort. Catto are highly organised and send an appointment rota in advance with visit times which they keep to. Reliability and punctuality of the carers is hallmark of the organisation. All carers operate in a professional manner,
are fully aware of my father's needs and regularly report back to the office on his situation and any changes. They are also kind and considerate and are ready to do whatever is necessary during their visit. My father and I are very pleased to use their services.

I have a carer for an hour and 10 minutes every morning. They help me get showered and dressed, they tidy my bedroom and kitchen. Without their help I would not be able to live on my own. I am not stable enough to shower without without help.They set me up for the day.

Catto have been managing my uncles care at home for the past 7 years and prior to that my step mothers care. In all that time I can honestly say the manager and her team have been nothing but the kindest, most efficient and caring carers you could possibly find.
Catto help with absolutely any problems
that come along for my uncle whether scheduling and dealing with a doctors appointment or helping him take the cat to the vet. They are simply wonderful.

The manager and her team provide home care for my husband who is a stroke survivor.
From the manager's first visit to meet us and assess my husband's needs, I felt very confident in the service Catto offer. The manager has years of experience and offers advice, whenever she can.
Carers visit one
day a week which gives me a much needed break from being my husband's full time carer. They are friendly, always punctual, caring and reliable and go beyond their carer duties to help me too.
Being a small team it has been easy for us to build a relationship with each of the carers and they have got to know my husband's routine very quickly, which makes life easier for both of us.
I would recommend the manager and her team of carers without hesitation.

It is well over 12 months since we engaged Catto Homecare to look after mum on a daily basis. Mum has been getting steadily more frail and living overseas I am not able to be there for her and this is the next best thing. It is so reassuring to be able to rely on such a professional and friendly team
who take mum out every day and keep an eye on her. Mum loves seeing the ladies, who are always cheerful and helpful, its the highlight of her day. The manager is always quick to respond to any request and also updates me on mums health if there is a change and makes useful suggestions. They take mum out to do her shopping, go to her GP, hair appointments, or for a coffee and also do chores around the house, making mum's bed and making sure she has her next meal ready. I highly recommend them to anybody who has somebody that needs caring for.

I am totally satisfied with the service, they are always there when needed & are kind caring & always cheerful. I could not ask for more. In the last month I have had quite a few medical appointments & my carer gets me there on time makes sure I am safe at all times, offers help when I am struggling
eg undressing & dressing & always I taken indoors safely & if time she will make me a cup of tea.

All the carers are so helpful and so friendly, I feel completely at ease leaving my mum in their care. They no exactly how to help her and card for her as they did previously with my step dad. I couldn't recommend them more.

Catto Homecare took over my neighbours care over nine months ago providing twice daily visits. The Manager and all the staff team are professional, caring and friendly. They are extremely mindful of providing care that is sensitive to her individual needs and that enables her to retain dignity and every
independence possible in her nineties.
The team have changed visit times to suit her changing needs and liaise, transport and support her to GP and Hospital services and manage all medications.
They are great communicators and rapidly identify any problems and potential solutions. My neighbour enjoys staff visits and is benefiting greatly from their professional skills and insight into her individual needs and preferences. Excellent job.

Catto have been caring for my mother for a number of years, and in my family's view, they are first-class. Care was a new experience for all of us and they gently and professionally slid into place, encouraging, soothing, finding practical solutions, liaising, advising, and much, much more. Today
they are like trusted friends, or extended family, understanding, supporting, keeping us well informed about her health, her state of mind, general matters that need input from us. We do not live near our mother, and we put our trust 100% in Catto. The Catto management and team are supremely discreet and professional. We simply could not wish for better. Our mother enjoys their visits and we believe she thrives because of Catto.

It is over three and a half years ago since I put the call into Catto's office, looking for more details as we searched for care for my elderly Father in Law who suffers with Alzheimer's.
Any anxieties about letting people into his home quickly dissipated. The manager and her team were helpful, observant
and caring, whilst also passing on feedback and recommendations. Be it simple things, like letting us know we were low on cat food (He is feeding them too much again - maybe we should organise it into containers so he knows how much to give them each morning and evening!) or liaising with the GP, District Nurses or Hospital.
I am not sure how we would have coped with some of the challenges that arose along the way without their support and the manager's pragmatic advice.
We are enormously grateful for the care provided and have no hesitation in recommending them.

The manager and her team at Catto Homecare have been fabulous from the day they took over looking after my elderly father. He has always been very challenging with various health issues, but the care team have been able to look after him so well. They are all very professional and caring with him, they
are always on time and have a lovely relationship with him. Catto has certainly taken the pressure off us as a family and are always in contact if there is ever a problem with my Dad. I cannot praise them all enough.

Catto Homecare were recommended to me by a friend when my mother needed help at home.
From the beginning it was clear that the manager and all the staff were extremely professional and caring, giving us confidence from the start. The manager spent time with my Mother to get an understanding of her
needs, food preferences, likes and dislikes etc. which was relayed to the team. We were provided with a weekly update of who would be attending along with photographs of everyone. I would have no hesitation in recommending them, they really did go above and beyond in the care of Mum

In 2021 my parents reluctantly agreed to have care, after working in care myself I knew some of the pitfalls of choosing the right agency. I can honestly say from the first telephone call to the Catto Homecare office, the manager's visit and how she engaged with my parents, I can't fault the service
and would highly recommend the agency. All the staff are very professional, kind and caring. My parents have regular carers, they know who is coming in weekly and enjoy the visits. The agency’s communication is excellent and if anyone from the team has any concerns or worries they let me know.

Catto Homecare have looked after my Uncle so wonderfully for the past nine years. The management and staff went above and beyond the ‘call of duty’ in order to provide my Uncle with the very best care possible.
During the past few months my Uncle's care had to be 'stepped up' to include 'live in'
and 'waking night' cover. It was wonderful to know that my Uncle did not want for anything, even the liaising directly with the GPs and District Nurses and the ordering of his medication was 'seamless'. Thankfully all the end of life process was well managed and my Uncle was able to pass away peacefully.
The cheerful and dignified care enabled my Uncle to have his wish of remaining in his own home and having someone by his side right until the very end - I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism.

Catto Homecare has been instrumental in providing ongoing care for my elderly relative. They have a wealth of knowledge, enabling them to support her in a positive way, particularly regarding her dementia care, which is very reassuring for both my elderly cousin and myself. As my cousin’s health has
changed over the past couple of years, they have adapted their care package, often going beyond the call of duty to help. As a result, she is happier and more relaxed in herself and I, as her closest family, am relieved to know she is being well supported. Catto’s service is highly professional. The carers are delightful.
