A couple of members of staff have been rough and not very caring in how they have helped to dress/undress and at times when helping to the commode.
On a couple of occasions, I have been left with items I need out of reach, thus I have been cold because I could not reach a jumper or blanket or move
because the walker was left out of reach.

As Bluebird carers have been coming in to get my very frail mother up and dressed and washed or showered in the mornings for more than a year, I think I'm in a good position to say that Bluebird is excellent. Very reliable, with lovely carers who are kind as well as efficient and professional.
Altogether great support.

I started with Bluebird in February 2021. Over one year on, I happily have the same Carer, now a firm friend. Living alone with terminal Cancer over the past 5 years, with multiple disabilities, I cannot go out alone. With no family or friends living near me, I felt alone and abandoned until my
Bluebird Carer came into my life. Compassionate, Caring and Gentle. She brought with her LIFE! She supports me in every way - attending appointments, giving me someone to talk them over with after, a constant reassuring presence. I have met most of, if not all the team who work at Bluebird, Scarborough. Everyone has a wonderful way of bringing laughter and joy into Life. I look forward so much to their visits. Their love of people knows no bounds, no matter who they are, or what their experience. Cancer is a frightening disease. Loneliness and living this journey alone have been eased by their presence, their support, laughter and sense of peace. Thank you, Bluebird. You are SPECIAL! xx

I have never had such good carers I feel safe when they are here. Being both disabled and in very ill health they are a godsend to me.

Bluebird took over my 97-year-old mother's personal care in October 2020 following a home move. From the outset, they were helpful, eager and positive about providing the twice-daily attendance mum's general age-related frailty demanded. As independently minded as she was mum soon came to look
forward to the carers visits, being almost totally deaf for well over a decade after no doubt lip-reading for many years, communication with her was not always straightforward so it was always good to hear her laughing back to her old self as the carers went about their routine.
Carers are always punctual, cheerful and respectful and any (very rare) material delay in attendance due to unforeseeable circumstances always telephoned.
Mums general frailty worsened suddenly and materially from the end of April and after a week as subject to an NHS end of life pathway regime which Bluebird regular team of carers supported impeccably, indeed their response to finding at a morning visit mum had passed away entirely peaceful in her sleep overnight, summoning of a supervisor and professional handling by all three of what was a potentially upsetting scenario for all concerned, exemplary. No hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending this agency.

The majority of carers are well trained some more than others and some need more experience and just need time to get it. All are helpful and concerned about my welfare and do not hesitate to seek further advice from others.

As a relative I can not fault Bluebird Care we have used this service for my mum for several years, they continue to meet all her needs and go above and beyond whilst maintaining and respecting her independence. The staff are very friendly and expereicned in the care they deliver. We are extremely
grateful for the love and support they give to mum and my family and would highly recommend this service.

Extremely helpful and compassionate supervisor, admin and carers that treat my parents with utmost dignity and respect in very difficult circumstances. Always available 24/7 and nothing is too much trouble for them. Very happy with all aspects of care and even when there have been enforced
interruptions in care, they are always available to pick up the baton again, at short notice.

The carers are very friendly and helpful. They take me shopping and do any household tasks if I ask them to when I don't feel well. If I can't go shopping, they do it for me very efficiently. I get on well with them and have no complaints. The management is also helpful.

We set up with Bluebird in August 2020 and have found them very professional from setting out all the details of the care my sister would receive, everything explained in detail. The services the carers have given my sister have been excellent, all very kind and caring. I would recommend them for

Bluebird has provided an excellent care package for my mother-in-law. Each carer listens to her daily needs and responds well whilst also following the daily tasks. The management team is helpful and very responsive to any changes we have needed. I have seen first hand the level of care and respect
each carer gives to my mother-in-law. I feel reassured that they are coming each day to ensure my mother-in-law can stay at home.

Excellent service from extremely professional and caring staff. They are very efficient and friendly with nothing being too much trouble.

The management team have consistently phoned me if there has been no answer at the flat when the care worker has arrived. Also, when a new care worker is coming. The care worker is very friendly and caring; she chats to my mum and has offered to accompany her on short walks when the weather
improves.

All the carers that help my dad are wonderful. They are all very kind and treat my dad with dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Care has nearly always been good to excellent. Management has been very good at accommodating our needs at very short notice. Staff are usually regulars which are important when building relationships especially for those with dementia.
Overall highly satisfactory.

So pleased to have chosen Bluebird from a long list of carers. I find them friendly and easy to talk to. Carers complete tasks quickly and efficiently. Always willing to help me if I have a problem.
