View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (West Bridgford)Niamh is very helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. I'm very pleased when I see her; she always treats me with dignity. All in all, she is very good.
Mum had care mainly on only 1 day per week and once for a full week whilst I was away. The carers were always punctual and well aware of the care that was needed for Mum. Mum was not always easy to care for as she was reluctant to have help. However staff were always very friendly, patient and persevered with her. Mum was treated with dignity and spoken to in a good way even though she struggled to communicate well with people. We were happy with the care that Mum received and as such my mother in law will be using the company soon.
I am very happy with the care that mum has received from Helping Hands. The carers are kind and patient - as she has dementia. They are friendly, and she looks forward to seeing them. I appreciate that they are proactive in thinking about what needs to be done, and will immediately alert me if they have any concerns about mum.
1) Regular carers v good, caring, competent and good rapport with client. 2) Management re rotas better now & action taken more quickly now, some have left the office. 3) HHH Care (W Bridgeford) is misleading as the office in Beeton. 4) Carers are sometimes anxious and under pressure to work quickly cos of insufficient travel time between clients.
It is very satisfying the care you provide thanks! All the carers have been very pleasant and did the job well! We have become friends! Which is very nice and I look forward to seeing them.
Couldn't manage without them! Very helpful, service with a smile. Always willing to do what I ask for. Reliable & trustworthy. Always treated with dignity, essential for this job. Friendly & polite.
The carers and management staff at Helping Hands West Bridgford branch have been brilliant since my wonderful Mum suddenly began needing in-home care last year following a short period of severe ill health. Whilst the ongoing impacts of Covid and fluctuations in the non-care employment market have inevitably led to the occasional scheduling issue, Mum has never been left without care when needed - with both office-based and care staff stepping in when required to ensure she is safe and comfortable. As a part-time carer for my Mum, juggling part-time work and my own family; I know I couldn’t manage without Helping Hands - thank you!
Extremely happy with the quality and professionalism of the care. The management go up and beyond to deal with last minute changes. The whole team have showed dedication and have provided fantastic support along with very helpful advice. Keep up the good work. 100/100 rating. Many thanks.
My dad had a spell in hospital and on release he required care visits at home to manage a catheter. I chose Helping Hands Home Care and set up 4 visits per day. My dad is 90 and virtually blind so the care extended beyond the catheter to helping him around the house, with personal care and domestic chores and, most importantly, brought company and routine to his days. It took him a while to settle, he is a proud man, but before long he adjusted to the carers coming in and out and he soon found them to be vital for his day to day life. He was only with Helping Hands for around 6 months and has now moved into residential care but we could not have managed that transition without his care visits. The online portal has been brilliant allowing my sister and I to see how he is doing, and the contact from the carers and staff has been just right. He could be a difficult man to handle at times and everyone made sure to match him to the right carers and to keep as much continuity as possible.
