I have also found the office staff to be friendly and helpful. When due to improvement I have phoned to cancel a particular day they have also been pleased for me.
Whether you need help for a short or long time then from my experience I highly recommend Helping Hands
Good Morning
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. We are so pleased to hear how helpful, supportive, and encouraging the carers have been throughout your recovery. It is wonderful that they have helped you recognise your progress and that the continuity...
Highly recommended. Everyone in the team honestly cares. I've been my Mum's primary carer since I moved her in with me over five years ago, but for the last year Mum's needed carers to come in during the days I work, and each one has been brilliant, contacting me immediately with any questions or concerns, and they go out of their way to make sure Mum is reassured and safe. I've asked them to come in and sleep over for two nights one weekend, and that too went perfectly smoothly, not least because the team's internal communications are so diligent. And if you have any concerns, they listen and deal with them immediately. 10 out of 10 for organization and communication, 10 out of 10 for caring.
We are delighted to hear how much our team's support has meant to both you and your mum. Knowing that you have been her primary carer for over five years makes your feedback even more meaningful, and we are so pleased...
Good overall, although a few of the carers seem to choose when they turn up. They are always within the 15-minute late/early slot, but some seem to always turn up with 5 minutes to spare and after the second carer has almost finished with my father. Having said this, all of the carers are polite, friendly and seem to care.
We are, however, sorry to learn that some arrival times are...

I requested some respite help for my mum 3 years ago and was well pleased with the care and support, and the whole staff and management team. We now require daily support, which has so far been excellent. My mum is treated with respect, kindness and dignity. The care staff are very good with Mum. Mangement were also very good to Mum and were able to accommodate our needs in a short time.

Mum had care mainly on only 1 day per week and once for a full week whilst I was away. The carers were always punctual and well aware of the care that was needed for Mum. Mum was not always easy to care for as she was reluctant to have help. However staff were always very friendly, patient and persevered with her. Mum was treated with dignity and spoken to in a good way even though she struggled to communicate well with people. We were happy with the care that Mum received and as such my mother in law will be using the company soon.

I am very happy with the care that mum has received from Helping Hands. The carers are kind and patient - as she has dementia. They are friendly, and she looks forward to seeing them. I appreciate that they are proactive in thinking about what needs to be done, and will immediately alert me if they have any concerns about mum.

2) Management re rotas better now & action taken more quickly now, some have left the office.
3) HHH Care (W Bridgeford) is misleading as the office in Beeton.
4) Carers are sometimes anxious and under pressure to work quickly cos of insufficient travel time between clients.

Whilst the ongoing impacts of Covid and fluctuations in the non-care employment market have inevitably led to the occasional scheduling issue, Mum has never been left without care when needed - with both office-based and care staff stepping in when required to ensure she is safe and comfortable.
As a part-time carer for my Mum, juggling part-time work and my own family; I know I couldn’t manage without Helping Hands - thank you!
Many thanks.
Best wishes.
My dad had a spell in hospital and on release he required care visits at home to manage a catheter. I chose Helping Hands Home Care and set up 4 visits per day. My dad is 90 and virtually blind so the care extended beyond the catheter to helping him around the house, with personal care and domestic chores and, most importantly, brought company and routine to his days. It took him a while to settle, he is a proud man, but before long he adjusted to the carers coming in and out and he soon found them to be vital for his day to day life. He was only with Helping Hands for around 6 months and has now moved into residential care but we could not have managed that transition without his care visits. The online portal has been brilliant allowing my sister and I to see how he is doing, and the contact from the carers and staff has been just right. He could be a difficult man to handle at times and everyone made sure to match him to the right carers and to keep as much continuity as possible.
Thank you ever so much for leaving such a heartfelt review! It means the world to see how much of a difference the team have made for you and your dad; it is our absolute pleasure to provide care for him!
Best wishes,
