I was very impressed with the service I received. The carers were always punctual, efficient and friendly. I will definitely use the service again if my circumstances change.

I have found the carers at Good Oaks to be considerate, thoughtful, encouraging and very diligent in seeing to my relatives needs throughout the years that she was cared for by the team. Whenever we (family members) had a request they would do their best to accommodate this. As our relative began to
require greater support over time, the management team suggested approaches to dealing with specific situations indicating that our relative would benefit greatly from increased care time, and we could see the benefit of this within a couple of weeks.
When our relative became distressed the carers would follow proper procedures and stay with our relative until a solution was found.
We would highly recommend Good Oaks as great care providers.

During October 2025, my mum has been looked after by both her primary and secondary carer, which affects the overall score. Both carers treat my mum with respect and dignity but if this review was just for the primary carer, there would be a lot more 'excellent' boxes crossed. The primary carer is
more proactive about my mum's care, anxiety and needs and will sort out many issues by herself. The secondary carer is younger and doesn't have so much experience; she seems nervous about taking responsibility and there have been a few situations where we have had to contact the office. She doesn't inform us of issues saying that, she is sweet with my mum and better than carers from other companies we've used.

We have been using the GoodOaks home care service for well over a year & have always found it to be very satisfactory. We use it for regular weekly visits, ad-hoc visits and a recent one off 'live-in-care' period of one week. Booking is easy to do & we are (nearly) always told who is coming. The
carers appear to have been well trained and are always cheerful, polite, understanding & helpful (occasionally a carer may turn up later than expected but this is usually due to traffic issues). We happily recommend GoodOaks 100%.

Really happy with good oaks, they are always quick to communicate, know mum really well and are kind, caring and compassionate when with her. Their patience is outstanding and they support mum in her journey with dementia in such an incredible way.

I have used Good Oaks in Bournemouth for over 3 and a half years for firstly my Mum and then my Dad. Their carers were always kind and respectful towards both myself and my parents. Any issues we're dealt with properly and in a timely manner. The last carer I had for my Dad was with him more than
two years, and I can't speak highly enough about her and the care she gave him. Whomever she is caring for now will be lucky.
Managers always listened to my points of view and were a good support to myself and my parents carers.

Excellent service. First time we have had carers for my mother. Very sympathetic company. Understood our needs and had a very good timetable to fit in with our lives. My partner and I live with Mum. We would recommend GoodOaks to anyone.

I live in the US and have been trying to set up homecare for my brother in the UK!!! It's not impossible ! GoodOaks has been outstanding !!!!! The homecare manager has been so responsive and really took this case to heart making sure all the arrangements were set in stone including discharge from
the hospital transportation home and caregivers ready to greet my brother. The carers have been outstanding doing 24 hour care. I couldn't be happier with this home care agency . I am an RN and know the difficulties in getting the right people to staff shifts. My brother is thrilled and so are we!!!
This has been hard for my sister and myself being so far away but this agency has been fantastic !!!!!

From my initial phone call to Goodoaks and their subsequent follow up calls to check on our status and needs we were given an exemplary service.
Right from the start I felt a wonderful, personal, caring and understanding approach. As my father's needs changed rapidly from what we initially had
booked to commence with you, you were quick to ensure we had the necessary care provision in place.
We straightaway formed a wonderful relationship with the young carer who was appointed to us and she became one of the family in the short period she was with us.
Cannot fault a single thing about Goodoaks. We are forever thankful for them being there for us at a time when we really needed them.

All the carers come at the time expected. They are invariably pleasant and efficient and I think my husband welcomes them. I certainly could not manage without their help. Financially it is quite a commitment but I prefer to have home care. The carers say they are here to help me as well as my
husband. The carers very quickly learned where to find whatever they needed and I don't need to get involved.

Thank you for caring for my parents so well. For being supportive during the transition to my parents having live-in carers which at times was challenging. Having your carers looking after my parents gave me peace of mind that they were receiving safe, dignified care and has taken some of the
pressure off me. My parents have thrived under your care, so thank you.
Your manager and admin team have also been very supportive and stepped in when required. Overall you provide a reliable, professional service and your team has shown kindness and support to my parents, and myself.

Good Oaks were my mum's carers for 4 and a half years.
They started their care for Mum, just before the outbreak of Covid 19.
During that time, the carers did a excellent job in extremely difficult circumstances, even taking over the weekly shopping duties, when lockdown was imposed on us.
Overall the Good Oaks team have been reliable and provided a professional service to my mum on a daily basis. The team brought kindness and some laughs along the way to help brighten up Mum's life.
A special mention to the staff, who always went that extra mile and is an absolute credit to her profession.
Thank you to the manager and the team at Good Oaks for the last 4 and half years of service to my mum.
The service provided really did make a difference to both myself and Mum's life. Thank you once again.

GoodOaks provided a package of care for my mother for two years which was largely positive, enabling her to continue to live in her own home during this time.
The live-in care manager provided an excellent service, always responding quickly to any concerns or changes in arrangements, treating my
mother and family members with the upmost professionalism and respect throughout.
Some of the carers provided an excellent service, bringing with them an interesting range of personal and professional experiences.
