View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Worthing)We have been using Helping Hands (Worthing branch) for some time and are very happy with the care and services they provide. The carers are very professional and competent but treat my husband like an individual, not a "case". I have confidence when they are with him and am able to relax that he is in good hands, giving me a little break in the day. They prove to be patient and adaptable as his health and needs change and my husband really enjoys their company and friendly chat. So thanks for the assistance, it makes a real difference to both of our lives.
Helping Hand have been coming into our parents house to help particularly with Dad's care. They come to get him up, showered, shaved, toileted and emptying the night catheter bag and dressed. At lunch time, changing the pad and emptying the bag...and then again at bed time to get him settled in bed. Helping Hands Worthing are always helpful and cheerful and will do as much as they can to help. We definitely recommend them.
I was so pleased to find Helping Hands who provided me with the aid I needed. The staff were lovely and all well trained, polite and flexible. I enjoyed my 2 hours once a week and it was good to be able to finish a chore which I couldn't have done on my own.
This is the middle of week 2, with hourly visits morning and evening to my 97 year old Dad. He was reluctant to accepting help, but has been exceptionally pleased with experience so far. It is clearly early days, but the individual feedback on each of the carers has been positive. Clearly, as individuals they are all different, but the experience with all has been good (and none that he would not wish to see again). For a proud and independent individual, this is high praise. The support provided has taken much of the daily strain and improved the quality of his days.
My husband has really good care from all the carers who come to get him up in the morning. They are all polite, friendly and treat him sensitively, always ensuring they have the correct personal protection. The help that they provide gives me welcome respite. He also has a carer who comes in on a Friday for a longer time to shower him and give him his lunch, whilst I can go out for a longer time, this allows me to switch off and have some valuable downtime. The help from the carers has definitely improved my life and my husband's life as well.
Helping Hands provide twice daily visits and support from the Worthing office to my mother in Rustington. She has Alzheimer's, but the care at home has meant she is currently able to cope with living at home on her own with her dog. It is approximately nine years since her original diagnosis. I've met several of her carers and all have been very kind, thoughtful and friendly and Mum obviously enjoys their company. Communication with the office always receives a prompt response and the carers are always quick to raise concerns. My brother and I really appreciate their care for Mum and the independence it gives her.
Helping Hands have provided excellent care. They really took time to get to know the client and their wishes. Great attention to health and safety within the home too. From enquiry about care to providing they were professional at all times. Kindness and patience were given at all time. I would have no hesitation in recommending the excellent service/care provided. Thank you
Hello. Since having a stroke on 23 September 2024, I have had a spell in hospital followed by a short period of care before returning to my home on 24 October. On that date, I had my first visits from Helping Hands Home Care (Worthing). Now into mid January 2025, I am extremely happy with the terrific support and friendliness that I have experienced from the Helpers without exception, initially on three visits per day. Slow and steady recovery since my stroke has now enabled me to reduce the number of visit but still reliant on the dedicated support I continue to receive. In the fulness of time, I shall totally miss the friendship and kindness of the Helpers which will be so difficult to replace. With my grateful thanks to you all.
I cannot praise the wonderful team at Helping Hands highly enough! My mother's carer is so kind, friendly and professional, and always cheerful. The care is catered to my mother's needs, and I don't feel quite so alone anymore.
Very good. Lovely people to deal with and adore my carer and our social visits into the outside world! Having spent the last 3 years barely leaving the house due to ill health and lockdown, they have given me back my confidence too.
