All the staff members have been amazing. The carers selected for my mum's care were beautifully tailored to support me and my mum's dementia and alzheimer's progression. Her weight was so low, and despite my best care for her, it was not working out for us. Under the attentive support of the team, my mum has put on weight gradually, and she has much more energy to even take on extracurricular activities that she used to love. Now, she has far more motivation to socialise with old friends and go out, rather than stay in bed all day. I can't thank the team enough for their adaptability and active communication throughout.

The level of care that both carers show my father on a daily basis is of such high value that it helps my sister and I know that Dad is in very safe hands. To quote my Dad, when they're looking after him including washing him, it feels like his own mother is looking after him like when he was a child. That's the level of care and attention you get from both carers. It's very reassuring for us, as his children, but also for Dad since he feels very comfortable and secure. Thank you both for looking after our father so well..it's very much appreciated!

I have found the carer very cheerful and helpful. Her work is exemplary and she does anything that needs doing without me having to ask. She's great to talk to and I look forward to our weekly conversations.

I found that my mother did not have the strength for personal care. And I was desperately looking for some help. I saw the Home Instead office at Canons Park. It looked so homely, inviting and trustworthy. I made telephone contact and was put through to the Director who was very professional. And a home visit was made and care needs discussed. Wembley Home Instead chose for me an excellent carer who visits once a week to helps my mother with personal care and exercise. The whole service by Wembley Home Instead is professional, friendly and reliable.

We have been happy users of Home Instead Wembley for 4 years now. They have providing support for care of my mother as her dementia has worsened. The interactions between my mother and the carers has always been good but what I appreciate most is the responsiveness and adaptability of the office. Kindness, reliability and personalised care for my mother is the necessary given. The adaptability, can-do supportive attitude of the management and the sense that they know my mother and understand our needs, always trying to accomodate us and help us deal with changing circumstances is a great relief. My mother is having all her needs met and we are being supported in our efforts to ensure this.

I have MS and my balance is poor. I risk falling.I need monitoring in case I fall, but otherwise I can care for myself in my home. My wife is my carer. In her absence Home Instead provides short-term and 24-hour care. The company and individual staff they employ are very good. You can trust them in all aspects of care and support.

Home Instead Wembley has provided care support for our elderly father for almost two years now and the whole experience from the start has been seamless, smooth, professional and very responsive. Any changes to his care needs are acted on quickly and with understanding. The introduction of any new care professionals supporting him, has been well managed, as changes to his routine and getting to know new people can sometime be disconcerting for him. The regular review visits have been thorough and it is great to meet the team who manage things 'behind the scene'. All of the care professionals work well with dad, fully understanding his needs, preferences and tastes and carry out their duties calmly and to a high standard. As a family we are more than happy with the care and support provided by the Wembley team.

I'm so pleased I'm using Home Instead to look after my father. The team have been a breath of fresh air during a difficult time. They have a professional management team, who are always welcoming and efficient in solving any problem. Their services are personalized in any and every way possible, tailored to the needs, preferences, and expectations of the customer. The carers are kind, timely, outstanding and respectful, always doing their best to help. I feel safe knowing that my father is being cared for by such an around diligent team.

I only hope this review manages to convey how indebted we feel to Home Instead for everything they have done to support our family at this tumultuous time. In the space of 4 weeks, our mother went from living completely independently, albeit with a diagnosis of dementia and enjoying a better social life than most to needing 24/7 care while she lay in bed confused and frightened. We contacted Home Instead and it's the best decision we ever made. Their compassionate and professional staff have offered realistic and practical solutions. Their advice and help is unparalleled. Every single care professional works hard and always keeps my Mum's dignity and humanity at the forefront. They haven't just gone over and above what any service user can expect to receive, they have taken our hands and helped us navigate through this difficult time. And when it's all seemed like too much they have sat with us and provided balm for our souls. We will never be able to thank them enough

The team dealt with my friend's needs very well. The initial assessment was carried out with sensitivity and the care professionals were very good with my friend. I was also supported very well by the care manager when there were problems with the client's family.

Home Instead care services are excellent, caring, professional and on time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They looked after my elderly mother recently, they showed a lot of empathy towards her dwindling memory. Despite her needs forever changing and her personality, Home Instead remained the same. I can't thank them enough.

We approached the team to provide care, particularly washing my very frail mother. The entire process of assessment, to the actual care itself, was handled very efficiently. The carer treated my mother with great care and respect, and won her confidence very quickly. I would have no hesitation recommending this company on my experience to date.

From the start of contacting Home Instead enquiring about support from a carer for my husband the communication with the management team and other staff in the office has been professional and supportive. i wanted a carer to come and sit with my husband for a couple of hours once a week so I could go out for errands etc so my husband wasn't on his own. The carer has been excellent in building up a relationship with my husband who has vascular dementia with short term memory loss which can be challenging at times. Thank you.

Home Instead Wembley have been caring for my dad, who has Vascular Dementia, since 2019 and they have become like a second family to us both. They care for him as if he were a close relative. Each request I place is dealt with quickly and efficiently. I have yet to give them a task they haven't been able to fulfill and go above and beyond to complete. In particular with some recent health issues which required constant daily monitoring - the Care Professionals were all very well trained and prepared to manage the tasks. Home Instead Wembley don't just focus their care on my dad, they also regularly ask about my wellbeing and have on occasion offered me their listening skills, which is always appreciated when you feel forgotten.

The Home Instead group have been absolutely indispensable in helping me make sure my dad has the appropriate level of care and support. The carers and the management team go the extra mile to make sure he feels emotionally supported as well as the practical side of things. There is also clear and timely communication with me which gives me peace of mind.

I would thoroughly recommend this company as the management and carers are lovely and friendly and are very reliable. They are very caring and treat my family with dignity. They are very adaptable to individual care needs and keep us well informed of any possible changes, for example, if they need to send a different carer for the day.

The care and support that the team have provided to our Mum (and us) has been amazing. Following an infection our 91 year old Mum had a couple of falls. Mum’s regular daily carer called the ambulance, gave her reassurance and made her comfortable. 24/7 care support was offered and gratefully received on Mum’s discharge the same day. Not sure where we would be without the support from the team, especially her full-time carer. People who genuinely want to ensure their client’s independence and safety. Recommend without hesitation.
