In November 2021 my mother-in-law had major surgery due to a ruptured bowel and was discharged with a non-reversible Stoma which at the age of 88 was very scary and stressful. She was discharged without a care package in place but thanks to my daughter having worked for Home Instead at a different branch, she sprung in to action and the next thing we knew the manager from the Enfield branch appeared with an experienced carer. On the 1st July 2025 my father-in-law was discharged from hospital with talk of a care package but I had already contacted Home Instead to check availability and I was extremely pleased and encouraged to be able to talk to the same manager and office person. I also found out the same carers who so brilliantly got mum back on her feet, with the confidence to be independent, were still part of the Home Instead family in Enfield. Dad is already getting stronger with their dedicated care and attention to little details. All their carers are amazing :)

The carers were incredibly professional and clearly very well trained. They provided compassionate and attentive care throughout. The office staff were also very responsive and helpful, always quick to address any questions or concerns. Overall, a truly reliable and caring service. Highly recommended!

I cannot thank the team at Home Instead Enfield enough. I had a stroke 2 weeks ago, and they have been incredible in helping me get back on my feet literally. The carers are extremely well trained and managed to ensure care needs are met. They are all so kind and caring, and their visits are the highlight of my day. I feel safe in their hands, and it is of great comfort to know I can rely on them 100%.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care and support the team provided for our Grandma. From the very beginning, they were incredibly supportive and always offered the right advice, which gave our family real peace of mind. The carers were professional, kind, and clearly committed to high standards. It made such a difference knowing she was in safe and compassionate hands. The office staff were also a pleasure to deal with, always happy to help and quick to respond to any queries. Their on-call service was a real lifeline, especially during weekends when we needed urgent advice or assistance. They were always there when we needed them. One extra service that really helped was their nail care, which had become difficult for us to manage ourselves. It made such a difference to my Grandma's comfort and dignity. We can't thank the team enough for the care and respect they showed. Highly recommended.

The Home Instead Enfield team were fantastic, we were in a very difficult situation and they were able to arrange carers to come in on just one day's notice. The manager was great, she was sensitive throughout, receptive to the changes we needed as the situation developed, quick to respond to calls and messages, and overall took a huge weight off all our minds. The team who came in were kind and thoughtful, responsive to our friend's requests and proactive in the care they provided. Thank you so much to everyone who supported during the short time we needed you, I would have been lost without your help.

The carers were fantastic, totally dedicated to their clients and very caring. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Home Instead. They were always cheerful and treated mum with respect. They would often do shopping for her or accompany her to hospital appointments. They prepared food for her and did all the personal care for her

Home Instead Enfield provided carers for my father at home while he was under palliative care. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism, sensitivity and dedication of the whole Home Instead Enfield Team. Care was organised very quickly, transitions between carers were well organised, and carers training as well as care standards were exceptional. The manager who organised the team was truly dedicated, turning up on site the first day of care and was always available to discuss any concerns, or just answer questions we had for reassurance etc. The whole team was very approachable and our experience was made easier by Home Instead Enfield. As a family we were there with my father doing what we could but as we were not professional carers and had no experience of performing caring duties. The care Home Instead Enfield provided helped give us peace of mind that my father was well cared for, and as comfortable as could be. Thank you Home Instead Enfield.

Living far away from a frail 93-year-old relative suddenly needing reliable home care, we faced the challenge of having to entrust her day-to-day welfare entirely to a third party. Thankfully, our decision to choose Home Instead for that role proved the right one. Over the 6 years our cousin spent in the agency's care, the support given was always pro-active and comprehensive. The close relationships her Carers built up with our cousin became invaluable and their kindness and companionship helped sustain her spirits through what would otherwise have been lonely times. The Carers on-line Activity Log, giving instant access to our cousin's condition and welfare each day, proved invaluable. The dependable care provided by the front-line care staff was matched by the office support team, helpinig us to organise our cousin's day-to-day needs in terms of groceries, meals, clothing, medications and more. Occasional emergencies, some out-of-hours, were always dealt with really efficiently.

I can honestly say that from the very first point of contact with the care manager, she made me feel so at ease with her support and knowledge in what care needs we needed for my father. All was arranged so effortlessly. You can feel from the manager and all the office staff and careers that they really are passionate about caring for our loved ones. All the carers that were appointed to my father's home were amazing. The manager also arranged to have Greek-speaking carers as my parents couldn't communicate well in English. I would highly recommend Home Instead for all your care needs. They also arranged to apply for a Blue Badge and I couldn't believe it arrived within a few weeks.

Fantastic service. We utilised Home Instead's service for over two years. From initial contact to the end the carers and staff were exemplary. They all went above and beyond to ensure our elderly aunt was well tended and cared for in very difficult circumstances. Thank you to you all. Your care has been very much appreciated.

The care manager, was fantastic when we faced an emergency situation due to my grandmothers regular carer having to go abroad on short notice. Sohini was helpful and understanding and came out on the weekend. The carer has been consistent and has clearly had great training.

A very brief interaction with the service, but however brief, I found them professional, courteous and great communicators. My mum was very pleased with the ladies who assisted her. Would definitely use them again.

Since we have started using the services of Home Instead since March for my aunt's care, we as a family can only applaud and say how greatly appreciative we are for the care my auntie has received. The care has been exceptional and all carers show my auntie care, respecting her dignity at all times. It’s also the behind the scenes from the staff, who have chased up medical appointments, Occupational Therapy appointments and so much more. Excellent company and would highly recommend.

I have to say that we have been really happy with the carers provided and we would recommend them to others. My dad has been very happy and he has made emotional ties with all of them. He has felt well looked after, not bossed, able to be himself and above all has enjoyed all the ‘chats’. He looks forward to the next morning and is always asking me ‘When is the girl coming’.

Until our mum went into hospital we had a lovely rota of carers visiting my mother twice a day. The Care Manager, Managing Director and Assistant Care Manager made sure that the carers were carefully introduced - especially as my mother has specific medical needs. Everyone at the company has been flexible and really attentive to any concerns. Our mother looked forward to the visits every day and her carers were always respectful, friendly, attentive and careful with her. As soon as she's back on her feet we will be returning to Home Instead.

Felt very well supported and cared for during my isolation due to the Covid virus. All the staff who visited me were very kind and supportive. Given I had spent my working life as an ASW (approved social worker) I was very aware of how difficult it can be to be involved in the care of people. Many thanks to all the staff of Home Instead.

I am very pleased with the Home Instead care for my mother. She always says she likes all the ladies who visit her and they all have a caring and patient manner. The visits for a 92-year-old lady to have regular company has incredibly improved her moods and helped her overcome the difficulty of living alone. My enormous thanks to all the team.

My mother was mainly happy with the carers and was able to build up a good relationship with them and it was obvious that they enjoyed supporting Mum. They spent time with her and didn't hurry. The management had a listening ear and were helpful and fair.

I was always kept informed of any changes for my Aunt, good or bad, and was most appreciative of the support the carers gave my Aunt when she was in the hospital. Also, from the office team whose response to my urgent calls for help as I live so far away from my Aunt, was so reassuring to me knowing my Aunt was always well cared for. Thank you.

Home Instead have been helping to look after my mother for a couple of years now. Their help has been invaluable. No more so than now, during this very worrying time for us all. They have remained calm, focused on their clients and have kept us informed. The carers still able to attend to my mum put our minds at rest and ensure she remains as safe and comfortable as possible at home. We cannot thank them enough for their care and professionalism. We would not have managed this long without them. Wishing everyone safe passage through this frightening time.
