I am so thankful to the wonderful carers who looked after my mum during her last few weeks of life. They were kind, respectful and compassionate to Mum and so supportive to me and all my family. I was initially worried about having people who Mum didn't know caring for her but it quickly became
evident that the ladies were experienced and excellent at their jobs. They constantly showed incredible patience - Mum's dementia worsened as her cancer progressed and she really wasn't the easiest of residents. How the carers managed to remain so happy and upbeat when dealing with this amazed me. Their manager went way and above what I had expected, offering so much help and support. These beautiful ladies made such a difficult time so much more bearable for us and we will never forget them.

This month has been rather hectic. As far as I am aware there is a severe shortage of staff. I see the same two members of staff all the time. If there were more people to help I think the overall standard would be excellent.
