I wanted to record my genuine satisfaction and gratitude for the five week period during which your care workers attended my husband in our home. He suffers from pain, immobility, serious illness, confusion and depression and is very vulnerable. Not only did they not ever let us down, but they
always treated him with the utmost respect, patience, tenderness and sensitivity, their care of him was never slapdash or hurried, always applied with dignity and quiet calmness. I really couldn’t have coped without them: not only did they keep him clean and comfortable and secure but through their approach, their willingness to listen, their empathy and their ready smiles, they kept me going emotionally, too. I can’t praise them enough. Each individual was a pleasure to know and I was really sad when their contract with us ended. Please pass on my best wishes and thanks to each of them and tell them they made a big difference, to us both and we won’t ever forget how wonderful they were.
