Latest Reviews for Helping Hands Home Care (Dulwich)

Helping Hands provided two weeks of care to my mum after a fall. Our
experience with them was positive from start to finish with clear and
professional explanations of what they offered & prices etc. The
manager who came to do the assessment really put my mum at ease &
also offered some really useful general advice in relation to Mum’s
care. Mum and her carer who came to look after her got on really well.
She really encouraged mum and reassured her as mum started to walk again
& they had some lovely chats & laughs. The carer was also really
good at keeping me up to date.

My mother has been feeling increasingly more isolated. She used to go
out a lot but is now stuck in her flat, often going for days without
seeing anyone. I go as much as I can but needed to know that someone was
visiting her regularly and so I turned to Helping Hands. It took a few
visits for Mum to get used to having someone come round but she became
very fond of the carer, her initial visitor. I think a lot of old people
are resistant to people entering their homes but it's worked relatively
well for us. I've never met any of the visitors but I get to hear about
them from Mum, which is always a welcome topic of conversation. I'd like
to thank Helping Hands for tiding us over during a very difficult period
and may well use their services again.
