View full details of Helping Hands Home Care (Solihull)I arranged for a carer from Helping Hands to visit my elderly parents three times a week as my father is caring for my mother with dementia. The carer who visits them is absolutely fantastic. Mum and dad love her and she helps my dad with doing the chores that he hates but also takes my mum for a walk and helps to give her a shower when my dad isn't feeling well. Best of all though, she chats to them both and listens to my dad's stories from his youth which he loves. She is so caring towards them and it really helps me as I live a long way away and can't be there as often as I'd like.
Absolutely lovely carers who come out to you. They hate being late but are not given enough time between clients. Great care from the girls, very kind to you, they go above and beyond to help you. They become part of the family. They wash and dry your hair when needed and will do any job you want them to.
Our two carers are wonderful. Compassionate, caring and so kind to my sister. Helping Hands Solihull keep us informed of any alteration to our cover in good time. We would be lost without Nicola and Rema.
The care I receive from my carer is second to none, she is kind and thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble for her. She has made my life much easier and helped me to start gaining confidence in myself again.
I want to express my utmost gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Helping Hands Home Care. The carers at this organisation are truly amazing and compassionate individuals. They showed unwavering dedication and went above and beyond to understand and assist my family member who has a rare genetic brain condition. Not only were the carers kind and understanding, but the management team also played a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of support for both clients and staff. They were always available and ready to address concerns, providing guidance and reassurance every step of the way. What truly sets Helping Hands Home Care apart is their willingness to learn about this specific condition. Their commitment to understanding the challenges faced daily was truly commendable. This enabled them to tailor the care my family member received to meet their unique needs effectively. I would be more than happy to recommend Helping Hands to anybody requiring care.
Absolutely brilliant service provided by Helping Hands care agency. They fully understand dementia from the branch manager through to the carers. At our first visit, the manager put together a care plan which was spot on. She advised us on how to reintroduce the care (the previous care agency we used failed miserably and did not understand the needs to a dementia patient) and assigned an experienced carer who was perfect in every way. Our carer was very professional, polite, always offered sound advice and knew how to handle Dad in a respectable manner even when he was being abusive towards her. She really went above and beyond. Once dad settled with his carer visiting a second carer was introduced, she too handled the situation well. We are so grateful to the exceptional service the carers provided not only to my dad but to us as a family, always providing sound advice. Helping Hands in Solihull certainly get our recommendation, and we cannot thank them enough!
