I have used Helping Hands local team for nearly a year as after my mum passed away and I was sole carer for my father as well as working full time, the team of Sue and Sam in the office are excellent and are always available to answer any questions I have or any additions or changes to dad's care
plan. The team that visit my dad are brilliant and understand his needs and it goes ves me peace of mind that he is being cared for with dignity when I'm not a available, they also assist to take him to his weekly appointments as well as some companionship whilst living on his own, I don't know where I would be without them. Yes it isn't cheap and we pay directly for the service but it is well worth the peace of mind..thank you to all of the team

My Dad had Helping Hands visiting care for 2 years then Live in care with support from visiting care for his final year. Throughout the local team were responsive to any query or problem and took trouble to sort things out thoroughly and effectively. I felt they worked well with me as the primary
family member but were also able to direct me when needed. The visiting carers were all excellent and most had been with the company for a long time. They had excellent rapport with Dad and treated him with respect and dignity. They never rushed him or made him feel a nuiscance.They were professional, called district nurses when needed, and worked well with the live-in carers. The live-in care worked better when transferred from the central to the local office. Sue is a fantastic team leader and manager, with a personal interest in her clients. She dealt with issues decisively and effectively. Dad died peacefully at home entirely thanks to HH Middlesbrough, and we will always be grateful.

Overall my experience has been very good and carers in most cases exceptional.

I have found the quality and performance of the carers very professional. The response when I contact the office is always prompt and my queries are dealt with in a satisfactory manner. The fees are on the high side but you get what you pay for.

The carer from helping hands was visiting my mam to take her out. She smelt gas and alerted the gas board who turned up within the hour to discover a leak and isolated the gas. If it had not been for her, I dread to think what could have happened to mam. I cannot thank her enough for being vigilant,
acting immediately and potentially saving mams life. These carers are not just carers they are empathetic, understand the needs of those in need and in my eyes guardian angels looking after our loved ones. I live away in London and knowing these caring helping hands are looking after my mam is a great comfort to me. I cannot thank her enough and the rest of the team are truly amazing. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have only good things to say about the care I have. My carer seems to know what I need before I say anything. She just gets on with it. We have a very good relationship, she pushes me to do things, for my own good, when I don't feel like it. On the whole, I thank her for it. The only thing I could
complain about is getting the weekly invoice, it's a waste of paper.

Excellent company, always go above and beyond, caring, pleasant staff. Excellent care.
Needs are always met at such high standards. Can't thank the staff enough for everything they do.
Certainly won't be disappointed.
